Born about two months ago, twin white tiger cubs are old enough for the public to get a glimpse of them. In China's Qingdao Forest Wildlife World, twin tigers cubs made their social debut this week, meeting visitors for the first time since they were born two months ago. The pair is a rare species of white Bengal tigers, one of the world's most endangered species. Caretakers have been observing to make sure the male and female twin cubs are healthy. [Zhang Shuangge, Qingdao Forest Wildlife World]: "They have already adapted to the environment to live independently. What we should do now is to pay attention to their diet and to keep appropriate temperature and then there will be basically no problems." The two are now quite playful and have learned how to walk. Names for the two little cubs are being voted on by the public. The results will be announced on February 6th, the day of the Chinese Lantern Festival. The Third World United States reliant on consumerism to pay 70% of its Gross Domestic Product aided by Planned Obsolescence since the 1920s to aid the socially engineered Post Industrial Zero Growth Society. Consumers should be ashamed of themselves for even wanting to waste their worthless IOU fraudulent (according to the Constitution of the real united States of America [until 1861]) debt currency on such Chinese mass produced slave labor trash. All whilst the U.S. suffers in an engineered DEPRESSION and soon engineered ECONOMIC COLLAPSE so my advise is get out of the Cities (Zoos) as quick as possible. What will socially engineered sheep citizens like this do when theres no food and no welfare when the U.S. defaults maybe as early as August-November 2012?

@Google Presents Michael Nielsen: Reinventing Discovery
"In Reinventing Discovery, Michael Nielsen argues that we are living at the dawn of the most dramatic change in science in more than 300 years. This change is being driven by powerful new cognitive tools, enabled by the internet, which are greatly accelerating scientific discovery. There are many books about how the internet is changing business or the workplace or government. But this is the first book about something much more fundamental: how the internet is transforming the nature of our collective intelligence and how we understand the world. Reinventing Discovery tells the exciting story of an unprecedented new era of networked science. We learn, for example, how mathematicians in the Polymath Project are spontaneously coming together to collaborate online, tackling and rapidly demolishing previously unsolved problems. We learn how 250000 amateur astronomers are working together in a project called Galaxy Zoo to understand the large-scale structure of the Universe, and how they are making astonishing discoveries, including an entirely new kind of galaxy. These efforts are just a small part of the larger story told in this book--the story of how scientists are using the internet to dramatically expand our problem-solving ability and increase our combined brainpower. This is a book for anyone who wants to understand how the online world is revolutionizing scientific discovery today--and why the revolution is just beginning"-- From: AtGoogleTalks Views: 1442 14 ratings Time: 43:24 More in Science & Technology

Japan Gifts Taiwan with Rare Red-crowned Cranes
For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ facebook.com A pair of rare birds were delivered to Taiwan on Wednesday as gifts from the Japanese government. The endangered Red-crowned cranes are gifts from Japan's Kushiro City Zoo. A pair of endangered red-crowned cranes arrived in Taiwan on Wednesday as gifts from the Japanese government. The cranes arrived on chartered flights in a wooden box, covered by a canvas with their picture. The male crane is named Big, 9 years and 3 months old. And Kika, the female crane, is 6 years 3 months old. This is the first time that Japan sends the red-crowned cranes abroad. One of the main reasons is to protect the endangered species outside of Japan, especially after the devastating earthquake in Japan six months ago. There are approximately 2100 red-crowned cranes left in the world, 900 of which live in Hokkaido, Japan. The cranes will stay at Taipei zoo where they will be quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, before they are scheduled to meet the public on October 30.
