Shakespeare in Love (Blu-ray Trailer) [FULL HD]
[LESS INFO] 3 VIEWS | ADDED 18:27:20 02/04/12
It is the summer of 1593, and the rising young star of London's theatre scene, Will Shakespeare, faces a scourge like no other: a paralyzing bout of writer's block. While the great Elizabethan age of entertainment unfolds around him, Will is without inspiration on material. What Will needs is a muse--and in an extraordinary moment in which life imitates art, he finds and falls for a woman who draws him into his own dramatic adventure of star-crossed love. It all begins when Lady Viola, desperate to become an actor at a time when women were forbidden from such depravity, disguises herself as a man to audition for Will's play. But the guise slips away as their passion ignites. Now Will's quill again begins to flow, this time turning love into words, as Viola becomes his real-life Juliet and Romeo finds his reason to exist. Yet all is not well in Will's world. For even as the parchment begins to pile up, he's plagued by the fact that Lady Viola must marry the insufferable Lord Wessex.

Cloud Safety
[LESS INFO] 0 VIEWS | ADDED 18:29:59 01/10/12
One of the big concerns with databases and cloud computing is security. I recently ran across an article that asked the question, "how can you make sure your cloud provider can protect your data?". There aren't any guarantees, but there is some information in the article about the certifications that your provider might have earned and be able to prove. There are FIPS 200/SP 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, and SSAE 16, SOC 2 & 3 standards listed. Whether these are applicable to you, or provide the security you need is something you will have to decide. Be careful, and do your homework as some of the certifications mean that the certifying company can give you an opinion on security, which is their own and maybe different from the one another company would give.
The article did make some good points about evaluating security for your company. You should understand what these certifications means, and in some cases, make sure the provider has multiple designations. For example, both ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 are needed together to ensure a reasonable level of security. The provider should also be able to provide you with copies of their audits, and contract with you to ensure ongoing audits and vulnerability tests. These are reasonable requests, and they are measures you should have in place for any of your facilities.

Chinese Local Government Debt "Serious:" Local Debt Expert
For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ on.fb.me China's economy fared reasonably well during the world financial crisis, but also has economic issues that could potentially trigger a crisis in the world's second largest economy. The director of the Guangdong Social Sciences Association has researched local government debt in China and says it could become a serious problem in 2012. While the recent financial crisis in the West was triggered by the US sub-prime mortgage market, many analysts believe that in China it's local government debt that could trigger a future financial crisis in the world's second largest economy. China's audit office has uncovered over $80-billion of irregularities in local government debt, yet the problem may be even worse than what statistics show. [Yang Zhenghu, Director, Guangdong Social Sciences Association]: "Of the several cities I have surveyed, the problem is far more serious than what has been revealed. The statistics bureau, when summing up this data, has a certain amount of freedom to exaggerate, they can adjust the statistics according to political preference. The longer this goes on, when we research, the data we find shows an even more difficult situation." While the usual sources of income for local governments are decreasing, they're spending is increasing. Yang Zhenghu says this debt based spending will eventually cause problems. The Casting Office - Episode #9 - Licking Latin Lovahs
[LESS INFO] 0 VIEWS | ADDED 03:52:37 11/21/11
"THIS MATERIAL IS INTENDED FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY" Title: "Licking Latin Lovahs" One time I went to this play and it was the most god-awful thing I had ever witnessed. I'm not sure what kind of agitprop theater this pretentious motley crew of viciously artistic performance artists had intended, but as I squirmed in my seat, next to an unforgiveably patchouli-ed young man with dreadlocks and a hippier-than-thou air, I remember feeling pity. Then anger. Then, I felt a LOT of anger. I was angry that they had advertised such an abysmal piece of "art" as "award-winning"- the only thing I found worthy of the production was the fact that the swarms of spiderwebs draped haphazardly across the lighting fixtures didn't explode into flames and send the audience to a fiery red explosion of sweet release from the tortuous dialogue: "But surely- there must be a passcode to break open the scepter of the hegemonic threshold, you harpy temptress of capitalistic sexual evil!"... and btw? I'm paraphrasing. My paraphrase is HEAPS better than the original words uttered. Feel it? Do you feel my anger? It wasn't until the final epic climax, wherein an wheel-chaired Ogra lookalike (from brilliantly mystical 1982 treasure "The Dark Crystal"), was pushed into the audience from out of an eight-foot-wide onstage vagina, that I literally lost the Clif bar I'd scarfed in secret in the dark confines of my seat- to my horror. Sitting through a piece of bad theater is a lot worse than sitting through bad television. Because you can't turn it off. Unless you're like our hapless hero, Mike- who not only has to watch bad television sans ability to turn it off, but has to pretend to LOVE said bad television. Good luck with that, Mike. Good LUCK.

The Casting Office - Episode #4 - "I HATE Actors and I Love My Dildo"
[LESS INFO] 0 VIEWS | ADDED 22:17:39 10/17/11
Why are actors SO FREAKING SENSITIVE? No, really. This is not a hypothetical question. Why are actors SUCH FREAKING PANSY FLOWERS?? At the end of the day, if you blow an audition, guess what? It's NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. If the guy responsible for preventing a missile crisis, for example, messes up on his first day of work, yeah. That could mean the end of the world. But if you're an actor and you don't quite nail it, the worst that it means for the world is that there's gonna be one more crazy depressed server dropping off more bread at Table #21. Hence, our next episode. Where you'll see that an actor is simply fodder for the surly casting director, a victim to their impotent anger. Either that, or they're the comic relief for a rough Monday morning. That being said, we love actors. In spite of the pansy-flowerdom. Because without actors, there'd be no bread at Table #21.

Meet the new Freddie Mercury...
[LESS INFO] 7 VIEWS | ADDED 03:58:48 09/25/11
Throughout the day yesterday, my Twitter and Facebook feed EXPLODED with links and posts about my buddy Marc Martel of the band Downhere who uploaded a video to YouTube a few days ago which went viral. And by viral, I mean more than 1.5 Million views in less than 3 days! The video he submitted is a recording of himself singing a cover of the Queen song Somebody to Love as part of the Queen Extravaganza competition. Queen drummer/songwriter/singer Roger Taylor launched the competition only a few days ago in honor of the 40th Anniversary of the band Queen and offers the opportunity for winners to tour in the Queen Extravaganza Live Tour in early 2012. Music fans worldwide have suddenly discovered what we downhere-fans have known for years: that Martel's Freddie Mercury impression and likeness are beyond stellar. However it's not just an impersonation - Marc's actual singing voice lends itself not only to Mercury, but in the early days of downhere, he was often compared to the likes of Bono of U2 and even former DC Talk member Kevin Max. (I really should dig up a copy of Downhere's cover for U2's Beautiful Day ; my husband and I preferred it over the U2 version, but I know that's a bit sacrilegious to say out loud.) Marc has even ventured into singing opera in the past few years, which may seem a little farfetched for a rocker, but as one commenter stated, "This guy is the Swiss Army knife of singing!"
Though it may seem like videos go viral all the time, Marc stated in an interview with WGBL that the reporter he talked to from the Wall Street Journal on Friday said it truly isn't that common. Nonetheless, views today (Saturday) have grown to more than 1.8 Million total views, and strangely enough many fans including myself have noticed the YouTube counter seems to get "stuck" on the play count for several hours before jumping up again.
I have known the members of Downhere, Marc, Jason, Jeremy and Glenn, for about 10 years now, ever since a friend at Word Records introduced me to them and asked me to edit a promotional music video for their first album release. From the moment I first heard clips of their to-be-released debut until now, they have been my absolute favorite band. I've always told them that someday I expected them to get a big break like Christian rockers Switchfoot did in 2003 when their fourth studio album suddenly sold 2.6 Million copies after being marketed to the mainstream music industry. While this is certainly not the same story, Marc's new-found fame will certainly prove to enhance the awareness of Downhere . Over the years I have heard SO many new fans discover Downhere's music and say things such as "WHY aren't you all better known? This band has so much talent!" However, I also believe that God has used their journey to keep them grounded as the most down-to-earth set of performers that I have ever encountered. Not a concert goes by where they don't spend at least 30-45 minutes after the show in the lobby greeting every single fan who wants to meet and talk with them. This deep connection to their concert goers has established a grassroots fan base for them that has grown and sustained them as a band over a decade when many Christian performers have come and gone.
FINALLY an opportunity has arisen that will shine the spotlight on these guys who spent 9 of the past 10 years touring North America in a 15 passenger van. Media coverage by outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Huffington Post , and the CBC to name a few, has just started. Whether Marc gets a chance to perform with Queen in early 2012 or not is yet to be seen, but many fans feel it would be a travesty otherwise.

A Closer Look At Herman Cain 2012
[LESS INFO] 33 VIEWS | ADDED 23:47:45 07/26/11
In the 2012 election, the voters must know their options inside and out. Herman Cain seems to speak as a true blue constitutional realist at first glance, but the Reality Report does not conclude without a closer look. This is Gary Franchi with a thorough policy view of the GOP nomination hopeful, Herman Cain. Cain is Tennessee born, Georgia raised, and finished his masters in computer science at Indiana's Purdue University. Since then, he's taken the roles of a talk radio host, national columnist, author of four books, CEO of Godfather's Pizza, CEO of the National Restaurant association, and even Deputy Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City . He is staunchly against abortion and gay marriage But what is his express plan for the country if he were the commander in chief? Here he is in a group of New Hampshire supporters speaking on the proper role of government. http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28041/herman-cain-on-the-proper-role-o 0:05-:025 "Provide for ... ... the free market system." It seems simple enough, but what does that mean for his economic policy? http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28042/herman-cain-on-the-o-reilly-fact From 2:03- 2:09 "That is correct. I would lower the... ...cap gains rate to 0." http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28043/herman-cain-on-the-economy-let 0:48- 1:21 "My proposal is ... with the American public" Cain goes on to unveil his five phase economic plan. He proposes to #1.Lower the TARP corporate tax rate from 35% to 25% and lower individual income tax rates... #2." take capital gains to zero... #3. "suspend taxes totally on foreign repatriated profits.. #4. "give every worker in America a 6.2% raise by providing a real payroll tax holiday for a year for the employee and the employer." #5. " make tax breaks permanent or indefinite. He is also an avid supporter of the fair tax replacing the tax code, and wants to repeal the 16th amendment. On The O'Reiley Factor, Cain expounds on how he believes his plan will pay for the national debt. http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28042/herman-cain-on-the-o-reilly-fact Cut 1: "But how do you get the 14 tril. + debt down... ...going in the right direction." 2:14- 2:57 Cut 2: "But Bill ... ... your revenue stream is going to drop." 2:30 - 4:16 So all in all, Cain claims to be small-business focused and plans to eliminate the debt by fast pennies rather than slow dollars. But with the handling of money comes the handling of major foreign policies as well. How would he deal with our current situation? http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28046/herman-cain-on-israel-our-frien 0:04 - 0:47 "First of all that is very complicated... you're messing with the United States of America." You realize that saying you will have a plan in the future is not a plan, right? And even if there were a plan, it would not be your choice alone as the executive branch. The constitution gives war declarative powers to congress. Do we want another Libya? Or in today's case, another Yemen? http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28047/herman-cain-s-nancy-pelosi-momen 0:00-0:50 So once he's been advised by the same people who advised Bush and Obama, then he will know. I'm relieved. Foreign cautions aside, the Middle East by and large holds the energy economy over the world's head. Here's how Herman Cain foresees his response. http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28048/herman-cain-on-energy-dependen 1:06 - 1:41 "Drill baby, drill. ... to become energy independent." Ok, maybe we’ll go back to foreign policy. Immigration: http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28049/herman-cain-s-immigration-plan 0:47 - 1:10] "I know we can build a fence... and yes, Mr. President, it will have alligators in it." If he has no direct plan for the debt, no real plan for his steps in the Middle East, and no mention of relieving the energy crisis besides drilling, he will need that fence to keep us in (if he can pay for it). But among the most appalling of all is his prior support for TARP and his skittish nature to answer about the Fed. Tarp: http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28050/herman-cain-supported-the-tarp-b Source http://004eeb5.netsolhost.com/hc133.htm 0:18-1:02 "No, I do not. ... the time to debate.. decisions." Do the American people want a president who can so boldly compromise the free market for a plan whose execution he was ignorant of? What does that tell us when Cain can tell us one thing today, and in his column say, "Wake up, people! Owning a part of the major banks in America is not a bad thing. We could make a profit while solving a problem.." America is waking up. And we see and question who is in the system for the status quo. The Fed: http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28051/herman-cain-discusses-the-federa 1:50 - 2:12 "Here's a suggestion .... They will." Herman Cain has a history of working at the Federal Reserve before. However his comments are quit curious that he once said this about auditing the fed before his run for office. http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28052/herman-cain-on-the-federal-reser So which one is it, Herman? Are you pandering to Ron Paul's audience or are you pandering to the Fed? How can you say on one hand that auditing would be a waste of time and money, and praise Ron Paul's efforts to audit on the other? Perhaps your run for office changed your mind. In any case, we gave Mr. Cain the platform to speak clearly on the issue of currency and here is what he said. http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28053/election-2012-herman-cain-on-wa 3:48 – 406 “The reason that the federal reserve… of Kansas city.” We know your past in the Federal Reserve, and we also know that because of it, these kinds of debts are inevitable as the dollar weakens with every major printing. And that doesn’t help congress, but it usurps it from its constitutional powers. My concern is your sincere respect for the constitution. Especially when you say things like this: http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28054/herman-cain-opposes-construction 2:50 - 3:00 "The people ... have the right to do that" http://rtr.org/videos/23102/28055/herman-cain-needs-to-reread-the 0:24 - 0:33 "For the benefit of those... ... life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." And for the benefit of those accusing others of ignorance, that was the Declaration of Independence. The United States needs a President who really knows the constitution. You cannot swear to uphold what you do not know. Only one candidate has wholeheartedly dedicated his career to the protection of the constitution, and that is Ron Paul. For the Reality Report, I'm Gary Franchi.
