Lap Band Success Stories And Pictures

---Lap Band Success Stories And Pictures. "My Journey With The Lap Band Has Been Rough... In Fact, I Almost Took Matters Into My Own Hands, And Ended That Journey A few Years Ago...
But the fact that I'm still here today -- slim and happy, is proof that it is possible to overcome, and end your emotional reliance on food, and get the body and life you've always wanted!
Let Me Tell You My Story...
It was the worst week I had since my surgery -- Thanksgiving week. I was at a point where all I was thinking about all day, was food. I had to actually fight to resist my strong cravings...
I just wanted to take one bite of that turkey... just eat one piece of pumpkin pie! I just wanted to be able to taste some of the same things everyone else was eating!
Not Only Was I Still Obese, But I Couldn't Even Enjoy My Own Life!
My cravings were driving me insane, but I did my best to resist the temptation. When I got onto the scales that week, I was dumb-founded - My weight loss had stalled! All the agony and deprivation I'd suffered... was for nothing!
I was so angry at myself for even putting me in such a low, pitiful state in the first place! I was to blame for the way I looked! I was frustrated and... I felt helpless!
My Weight Loss Had Stalled...
Ok, so maybe I needed another refill but nothing could improve my emotional state-of-mind...
I became so disillusioned that I could not remember my reasonsfor wanting to lose weight, and how critical it was for me to resist my favorite foods. All I thought, was that the lap band was not working for me... and I gave in!
I Was Once Too Embarrassed To Share My Story With Anyone, But I'm Telling It To You Today, So You'll Know That You're Not Alone!...
I had lost all hope of losing weight, that I began to out-eat my band, and find ways to cheat it...
One of my favorite foods before the surgery was french fries dipped in a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup. Since I couldn't have it after the lap band, I improvised... and blended it!
I Would Actually Put Fries, Mayo And Ketchup Into A Blender... And Then Drink It!
If you've ever fallen off the wagon then I don't have to tell you about theguilt that sets in after-wards...
I'd drink it, then I'd feel guilty and start to cry...
It would make me sick... but I did it anyway!
I hated myself for doing it... but I did it anyway!
When the scales began to creep back up again, I knew why... but I didn't know what to do about it!
I felt like my life was in a tail-spin. The worst part was that I was just too embarrassed & humiliated to talk to anyone about it!
Have you ever felt that way?
To find out what happened next, scroll down!
In an amazing twist of fate, find out how I found it easier to lose the last 132 lbs than it ever was to lose the first 60 lbs!"

PSN Changes and Game Violence Bill In OK - Press Pause Daily
[LESS INFO] 0 VIEWS | ADDED 04:00:00 02/08/12
PSN making some changes and a violent game tax on tap in Oklahoma.
SHOW NOTES:
Story 1:
So if you are a Playstation Network member, you probably got an email on Monday stating that there would be some changes on the way for the system.
According to Sony, stating today, your account will no longer be called a Playstation Network account, but would instead be called a Sony Entertainment Network account.
Now before you got and get worried that you’ll have to create a new name, or password, and go through a whole complicated process, Sony has said that this is just a change in name only.
According to them, “This helps us get closer to our goal of establishing a global comprehensive network platform of services across games, movies, music, and more."
So I guess Sony is looking to create more synergy across their entertainment properties. Only time will tell if the move will be a good one.
http://www.gamespot.com/news/psn-accounts-undergoing-name-change-6349822
Story 2:
So another politician is trying to attack violent video games, this time in Oklahoma.
Democratic state representative William Fourkiller (which is a fairly ironic last name don’t ya think?) has introduced House Bill HB 2696. This bill would levy a 1% tax on any video game that receives an ESRB rating of Teen, Mature, or Adults Only. This is on top of any other existing sales tax. The money raised would go to create two new funds: one to get youth involved in outdoor activities, and one to with bullying prevention.
According to Fourkiller, games are a major cause of obesity and bullying in our society, but since they make a lot of money, could be part of the solution.
Of course, the game industry isn’t taking this lying down. Dan Hewitt of the Entertainment Software Association says that he is disappointed that politicians are still trying to attack gaming in a way that is patently unconstitutional. He also said that "Taxing First Amendment protected material based on its content is misguided."
So a lot of politicians REALLY don’t like violent video games. They keep trying to control them, and it always ends the same way. You’d think they would learn their lesson by now.

Meet The Press Panel Continues 'Obama Hates Religious Liberty' Meme Over Contraception
[LESS INFO] 56 VIEWS | ADDED 01:00:06 02/06/12
In Catholic masses all over this country, priests are injecting politics into their sermons , condemning the Obama administration for the new Health and Human Services regulations that religious institutions must offer contraceptive benefits to its members . It doesn't require members to violate their personal beliefs by taking advantage of the benefit, mind you. But this new regulation acknowledges that there are some who may work in a Catholic hospital who may not have the same stricture against contraceptives and want it to be part of their health services. But that's perhaps a too nuanced view: >
The Catholic Church reacted strongly Friday to a White House defense of new rules that will force many religious employers to provide contraception to their workers in government-mandated health insurance plans.
"The White House information about this is a combination of misleading and wrong," said Anthony Picarello, general counsel of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. He said the bishops would "pursue every legal mandate available to them to bring an end to this mandate. That means legislation, litigation and public advocacy. All options are on the table."
The new regulations were announced last month by the Department of Health and Human Services as part of an effort to guarantee that women receive free "preventive" healthcare services, including cervical cancer screening, breast pumps — and contraception. They require employers to include those services in their employee health insurance plans by August.
Religious institutions can qualify for an exemption if the services violate their beliefs, but not if they employ large numbers of people who do not share those beliefs. [..]
In a blog post Wednesday, the White House responded that the new rules won't force anyone to buy contraceptives. Cecilia Muñoz, director of the Domestic Policy Council, wrote: "Over half of Americans already live in the 28 states that require insurance companies [to] cover contraception." These include such large states as California and New York, she said.
The Catholic bishops shot back Friday, saying it was misleading to say that no one would be forced to "buy" contraceptives, because everyone who contributes to an insurance plan will be paying a portion of the subsidy that provides for free contraception.
Alex Castellanos and David Brooks are only too happy to pick up the bishops' mantle and further the meme that this is a solid shot across the bow of religious liberty in Obama's war on religion. How nice of them to legitimize Newt Gingrich that way. Rachel Maddow and Xavier Becerra try gamely to point out that refusing contraceptive benefits in the twenty first century is beyond ridiculous, but of course, host David Gregory gives Alex Castellanos the last word.
Out of curiosity, are the bishops equally against ED drugs like Viagra? Why do I hear no denouncing of working against "God's plan" there? The reality is that despite the church's teachings, as much as 98 percent of Catholics admit to using contraception . Would that the church elders focus their efforts on dealing honestly with issues that are in line with the priorities of their members: poverty and social justice , labor unions , climate change and dealing honestly and ethically with their own sex scandals rather than plunge into politicking within homilies on Bizarro World accusations of violations of religious freedom.

Wukan Villagers to Elect Village Chief on March 1st
For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ on.fb.me On March 1st Wukan villagers will vote for their village chief. Wukan is the Chinese village that kicked out all Communist Party authorities at the end of last year, as part of a protest against illegal land grabs. And after a two-week stand off with the police, the Chinese regime agreed, in principle, to meet their demands%mdashone of which was for fair local elections. Many suspect the Chinese regime does not want to let the elections get too much media attention. Reporters from Hong Kong's "Apple Daily" recently saw a large billboard detailing election regulations in Wukan, yet the next day the board had been removed. Wukan villagers told NTD on February 1st they had elected a committee to oversee the election process. Forty people ran for eleven positions. At time of report, the results were not out yet. The committee will oversee the election of new leaders to replace those who were dismissed after the protest. [Mr. Cai, Wukan Villager]:(Male, Chinese, First in footage) "There is a ticket office for each village. Only two villages are done, five villages remain. We elected the notary public and next month, on March 1st, we will elect the village committee." The original conflict in Wukan was over officials carrying out illegal land grabs. Villagers are still wary of the regime and question whether it will keep its promises, even after the election in March. [Mr ... From: NTDTV Views: 241 6 ratings Time: 02:40 More in News & Politics

Cisco Live UK Day 2, Part 2
So we've wrapped up another exciting day in London! Today we saw Padmasree Warrior's keynote address "Zero to Zetta," learned more about Cisco' World of Solutions, met a lot of great customers, and saw a lot of great demos! One of the demos we had on display today was our "Converged Industrial Wireless" demonstration. In the video below, you will see Mark Bakker, our Business Development Manager for Industrial Automation for Solutions Ecosystems, talk about his experience at Cisco Live UK. He also talks about all of Cisco's partnerships in Industrial Automation, including Honeywell, Rockwell, Panduit, and OSIsoft and our work with Secure Wireless Networking. If you speak Dutch, please send us a translation of what he says at the end! Also, the video shows a great walkthrough of the "Converged Industrial Wireless" demo by Cisco's Dave Bell and Honeywell's Tony Alexander. The great thing about these demos is that they are actual live demonstrations, and they work like they would in production. Tony shows how with these devices can be used to monitor process variables in real-time, just as they would be at a large oil refinery or platform. blogs.cisco.com From: Cisco Views: 264 1 ratings Time: 03:16 More in Science & Technology
