About Robin Williams...
ROBIN WILLIAMS (Lovelace / Ramon) is a celebrated performer who has received myriad honors for a body of work spanning standup, television, stage and film.
Williams won an Oscar® for his performance in Gus Van Sant’s “Good Will Hunting,” and garnered previous Academy Award® nominations for his work in “The Fisher King,” “Dead Poets Society” and “Good Morning Vietnam.” He has also received six Golden Globe Awards, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award for outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment. Additionally, he shared the National Board of Review Best Actor Award with Robert De Niro for “Awakenings” and, in 2004, he received the prestigious Career Achievement Award from the Chicago International Film Festival.
Williams was also recently honored with a 2011 Drama League Award nomination for Distinguished Performance for his Broadway acting debut as the lead character in Rajiv Joseph’s critically acclaimed play “Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.” His additional stage credits include a landmark production of Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot,” directed by Mike Nichols and co-starring Steve Martin, and “The Exonerated,” which tells the true stories of six innocent survivors of death row.
His stand-up comedy, which marks the genesis of Williams’ career, has also garnered acclaim and awards. From 2008 to 2010, he performed his sold-out comedy tour “Weapons of Self Destruction” in 65 cities in the U.S., as well as London, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, grossing $40 million. Taped over two nights in Washington D.C., it also aired on HBO, becoming the network’s highest rated stand-up comedy special that year and earning three Emmy Award nominations, including one for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special. His sold-out 26-city, one-man tour in 2002 also culminated on Broadway and was filmed for HBO after Williams’ 16-year absence from stand-up. “Robin Williams: Live on Broadway” garnered five Emmy Award nominations. In addition, he has won five Grammy awards for the audio recordings of his stand-up shows and his children’s record, Pecos Bill.
Williams has also received numerous nominations for his work as an actor in television, most recently in 2008 for a special guest appearance on “Law and Order: SVU.” His first Emmy nomination was for his performance as Mork from Ork on the popular television series “Mork & Mindy,” where he first captured the world’s attention.
Trained at New York’s Juilliard School, Williams made his cinematic debut as the title character in Robert Altman’s “Popeye.” He followed up with starring roles in Paul Mazursky’s “Moscow on the Hudson,” and “The World According to Garp,” George Roy Hill’s adaptation of John Irving’s acclaimed bestselling novel.
Most recently, Williams was seen starring in the dark comedy “World’s Greatest Dad,” which premiered to critical praise at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival; in “Old Dogs,” opposite John Travolta; and as Teddy Roosevelt in the hit “Night at the Museum” and its sequel, “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.”
His filmography also includes the dramatic thrillers “Insomnia,” directed by Christopher Nolan, and Mark Romanek’s “One Hour Photo.” Among his many box office successes are Chris Columbus’ “Mrs. Doubtfire”; Mike Nichols’ “The Birdcage,” for which he earned a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award®, shared with the cast; Tom Shadyac’s “Patch Adams”; Steven Spielberg’s “Hook”; and Joe Johnston’s “Jumanji.”
Williams lent his voice talents in creating the memorable character of the Genie in the blockbuster adventure “Aladdin,” Fendor in the 2005 animated feature “Robots,” and Ramon and Lovelace in George Miller’s Academy Award®-winning “Happy Feet.” Additionally, he was the voice of Dr. Know in Steven Spielberg’s “AI: Artificial Intelligence.”
Offstage, Williams takes great joy in supporting philanthropic efforts around the world. Headlining a number of USO tours, he has traveled to Iraq and Afghanistan four times and is perhaps best known for his affiliation with “Comic Relief,” which was founded in 1986 and has, to date, raised over $50 million for America’s homeless.
About the movie... The sequel to “Happy Feet,” the Academy Award®-winning animated smash hit, “Happy Feet Two” returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica in superb 3D.
Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven—a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model.
But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces.
Erik learns of his father’s guts and grit as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures—from tiny Krill to giant Elephant Seals—to put things right.
“Happy Feet Two” is directed by George Miller, who won an Oscar® as the creator of the original “Happy Feet.” The film features the voices of Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Hank Azaria, Alecia Moore (P!nk), Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Sofia Vergara, Common, Hugo Weaving, Richard Carter, Magda Szubanski, Anthony LaPaglia and Benjamin “Lil P-Nut” Flores, Jr.
George Miller co-wrote the screenplay with Gary Eck, Warren Coleman and Paul Livingston. Miller is also producing the film, along with Doug Mitchell and Bill Miller. Chris deFaria, Philip Hearnshaw, Graham Burke and Bruce Berman serve as executive producers. The cinematographer is David Peers and the animation director is Rob Coleman. The film features vocals by P!nk, with music by John Powell.
Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, a Kennedy Miller Mitchell production, with Dr. D. Studios, a George Miller film, “Happy Feet Two.” The film will be presented in RealD 3D and IMAX 3D, and also in 2D. It has been rated PG for “rude humor and mild peril.”

Ron Paul's Texas Straight Talk 11/7/11: Taking Executive Orders Too Far
[LESS INFO] 0 VIEWS | ADDED 05:15:33 11/07/11
http://RonPaul2012.com http://paul.house.gov http://CampaignForLiberty.org http://DailyPaul.com http://RunRonPaul.com http://RevolutionPAC.com These are frustrating times for the President. Having been swept into office with a seemingly strong mandate, he enjoyed a Congress controlled by members of his own party for the first two years of his term. However, midterm elections brought gridlock and a close division of power between the two parties. With a crucial re-election campaign coming up, there is desperation in the president's desire to "do something" in spite of his severely weakened mandate. Getting something done is proving to be a monumental task. This may be news to the supposed constitutional scholar who is now our president, but if the political process seems inconvenient to the implementation of his agenda, that is not a flaw in the system. It was designed that way. The drafters of the Constitution intended the default action of government to be inaction. Hopefully, this means actions taken by the government are necessary and proper. If federal laws or executive actions can't be agreed upon constitutionally- which is to say legally- such laws or actions should be rejected. The vision of the founders was to set up a government that would remain small and unobtrusive via a system of checks and balances. That it has taken our government so long to get this big speaks well of the original design. The founders also knew the overwhelming nature of governments was to amass power and grow. The Constitution was to serve as the brakes on the freight train of government. But the Obama administration, like so many administrations in the 20th century, chooses to ignore the Constitution entirely. The increasingly broad use and scope of the Executive Orders is a prime example. Executive Orders are meant to be a way for the president to direct executive agencies on the implementation of congressionally approved legislation. It has become increasingly common for them to be misused in ways that are contradictory to congressional intent, or to bypass Congress altogether in enacting political agendas. The current administration has unabashedly stated that Congress's unwillingness to pass the president's jobs bill means that the president will act unilaterally to enact provisions of it piecemeal through Executive Order. Obama explicitly threatens to bypass Congress, thus aggregating the power to make and enforce laws in the executive. This clearly erodes the principles of separation of powers and checks and balances. It brings the modern presidency dangerously close to an elective dictatorship. Of course, the most dangerous and costly overstepping of executive authority is going to war without a congressional declaration. Congress has been sadly complicit in this usurpation by ceding much of its war-making authority to the executive because it wants to avoid taking responsibility for major war decisions, but that is part of our job in Congress! If the President cannot present to Congress and the people a convincingly strong case for going to war, then perhaps we should keep the nation at peace, rather than risk our men and women's lives for ill-defined reasons! This administration certainly was not the first to behave in ways that have defied the Constitution to overstep its bounds. Sadly, previous administrations have set precedents that the current administration is only building upon. It is time for Congress to reassert itself and its constitutional role so that future administrations cannot continue on this dangerous path.

Mercedes AMG - AMG Private Lounge Days 2011
Mercedes AMG - The AMG Private Lounge Days 2011 were held in Le Castellet, France this May. After experiencing the special "Spirit of AMG" during a factory tour and being the first group of guests in the newly built AMG Private Lounge at the AMG Headquarters in Affalterbach, an exclusively charter aircraft flew our guests to Le Castellet. The legendary Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track was not only occupied with the high performance vehicles from the Mercedes-AMG fleet during the driving training, but was also driven on by the AMG Private Lounge members on some of the fastest motorcycles in the world -- the Ducati Superbike 848. The third day brought up a third high-performance engine: the famous Cigarette Racing boat which accelerates up to over 200 km/h and is therefore rightly called "Inspired by AMG". The ride in this exceptional speedboat was definitely the crowning finale of the event. From: OfficialMercedesAMG Views: 4898 29 ratings Time: 04:25 More in Autos & Vehicles

"The LA Call2All Media Track is bringing together men and women with specific God-given skills and talents in the media world, who also share a passion to reach the Least Evangelized Mega People groups. God is weaving together each person and organization's abilities and vision into a beautiful tapestry of story and gospel truths in order to reach the least, the last and the lost." A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech, “Real Steel” stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

Road Testing for German Self-Driving Car
For more news visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Follow us on Facebook ☛ me.lt A self-driving car has taken to the road in Germany, in a hands-free test drive on the busy streets of Berlin. The vehicle made its way through traffic lights and intersections, but had a specially trained driver ready to take over just in case. Pulling out onto the streets of Berlin - this car can drive itself. With special permission from traffic authorities, the car, the brainchild of the Berlin Free University made its debut public voyage, joining the more conventional vehicles on Berlin's city streets. The presence of Tinosch Ganjineh, a specially trained safety officer at the wheel, just in case, was the only condition. He hands over control to the computer and the car does the rest. The system relies on a series of sensors, scanners and cameras that make up an electronic image of the road ahead that the car's computer can assess as it drives, controlling direction and speed. [Tinosch Ganjineh, Road Safety Car Tester]: "If one of the systems malfunctions, one of the sensors, for example, then I can step in and take back the controls." The car's been under development for four years - and tested on a disused airfield. Now, Paul Rojas, professor of artificial intelligence at the university, says it's taken a developmental step forward, offering new, green modes of transport - as either an autonomous taxi or the ultimate car-sharing vehicle.
