Game demos have finally made their way to the 3DS, and the next console Resident Evil game has been announced. SHOW NOTES: Story 1: Last fall, Nintendo told gamers that they would bring game demos to the 3DS. Now finally it looks like they are doing just that. Starting this week gamers will be able to download a demo for the forthcoming entry in the Resident Evil franchise: Revelations, and it looks like this is only the beginning. This will be followed next week with Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Future games mentioned also include Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D and Rayman: Origins. While this is definitely a step in the right direction for the system, Nintendo has stated that these demos would be appearing periodically. http://www.gamespot.com/news/3ds-demos-debut-with-resident-evil-revelations-6348773 Story 2: And speaking of Resident Evil, news came out at the end of last week about the next console entry in the series. Resident Evil 6 will be released this coming to November for PS3 and Xbox 360, and a short time later to PC. The game looks to bring back what looks like more traditional zombies to the series, as well as expanding the scope of the game, with locations including the US and China. The game will feature series favorites Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy, as well as an as yet unnamed male mercenary. The game looks really good, but then again so did the last entry in the series, and a lot of people were disappointed in that game.
