Clinton Calls UN Veto On Syria "A Travesty"
For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ on.fb.me A day after the worst night of bloodshed in the 11-month Syrian uprising, Russia and China have vetoed a UN Security Council resolution on Syria. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton calls the veto "a travesty." Speaking at a news conference in Bulgaria one day after Russia and China vetoed a UN Security Council resolution on Syria, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has called the move a "travesty." The vote came a day after activists say Syrian forces bombarded the city of Homs, killing more than 200 people in the worst night of bloodshed of the 11-month uprising. Russia says that the resolution was biased and would have meant taking sides in a civil war. Syria is Moscow's rare ally in the Middle East, home to a Russian naval base, and a customer for its arms. China's veto was widely seen as following Russia's lead. [Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State]: "What happened yesterday at the UN was a travesty. Those countries that refused to support the Arab League plan bear full responsibility for protecting the brutal regime in Damascus." All 13 other members of the Security Council voted to back the resolution, which would have "fully supported" an Arab League plan, under which Assad would cede powers to a deputy, withdraw troops from towns and begin a transition to democracy. [Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State]: "It is tragic that after all the work ... From: NTDTV Views: 105 5 ratings Time: 02:42 More in News & Politics

Cisco Live UK Day 4, Part 1: Social Media Listening Center
Now this is really cool. Have you been wondering why the social media activity for Cisco Live UK has been so quick, responsive, and high-quality? Well, today we're going to show you why. Peter was invited to step inside the Cisco Social Media Studio at Cisco Live UK, which is the social media nerve center for the event. It is here where they are creating "one of the most customer-aware events in the world." Peter met up with Kenny Lauer, Vice President, Digital Experience of the GEORGE P JOHNSON Experience Marketing Group (GPJ) which runs the Cisco listening center for Cisco Live UK. Kenny explained that the listening center is the hub where all of the online conversations that are happening relevant to the event are captured. These conversations are captured using special listening tools, such as Cisco's Social Miner, which search Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Flickr for Cisco Live UK content. What's most impressive is the team doesn't just listen -- they react. If a conversation -- positive or negative -- is picked up and is addressable, the team does its best to follow-up. Whatever it is, they are reacting to it to give people a better experience for the attendees and delegates. They can go back in time, too. In the video you see they are researching conversations and Tweets from a day ago for analysis. This Social Media Studio creates a unique experience for each attendee, and it helps the Cisco teams manage the Cisco Live UK event! Want to get noticed by the Cisco ... 49ers Gold Mine - Ep.24
[LESS INFO] 0 VIEWS | ADDED 04:26:19 01/27/12
Today, the guys recap the awful 20-17 overtime loss to the New York Giants. It was a horrible end to an amazing season, but not just one person is to blame. Sure, backup Kyle Williams did drop some vital catches that led to Giants possessions, but that may have never happened without starter Ted Ginn Jr. In the end, Giants Kicker Lawrence Tynes made a 31-yard FG in overtime to send the Giants to Super Bowl 46 Kyle Williams was the center of attention after the game, but he stood strong and tall. He stood at his locker and spoke to the media after the game and the next morning. He didn't shy away from his mistakes and took responsibility for him and his teammates, but some people went to far. The media reported of death threats (yes, like those cut out of magazines) towards Williams after the game. That's crossing the line and straight up disgusting considering he didn't hurt anyone and just made mistakes. You can make those death threats once YOU'VE done everything perfect, 49ers fans. Hawaii or Indianapolis? I'm sure a few players on the 49ers are glad deep down inside that they are heading to the land of surfing and tanning instead of bundling up and bracing for the cold weather Indianapolis holds in store. The Pro Bowl starters include: Justin Smith, Joe Staley, Patrick Willis, David Akers, Brian Jennings, and Andy Lee. These players were chosen to play, but cannot due to injury: Carlos Rogers, Dashon Goldson, and Frank Gore. The guys look ahead for the 49ers this off season, touching on what will change and what will stay the same. They are hoping for some new WR's and to keep the defensive team. Alex Smith's future is still in question as his contract has expired.

I'm Lynn Lumpkin CRWENewswire Sports Commentator. This is the Sports Corner. A University of Wisconsin student, identified only as John Doe, alleges former senior associate athletic director John Chadima put his hand down the student's pants at the end of an alcohol-fueled party during the football team's trip to the Rose Bowl. According to an independent report released last night, the incident happened in Chadima's suite at a Los Angeles hotel on Dec. 31 and the student said he was "shocked and frightened" and slapped Chadima's hand away. On Jan. 6, Chadima was put on administrative leave and resigned the same day. Through his attorney, Chadima had previously issued an apology for a "lapse in judgment, " saying, "I make no excuses and have come to the realization that over the past few months, alcohol had controlled and consumed my life. I am taking steps to correct that problem in my life at this time. I will take full responsibility for my lack of judgment and actions that evening." European Commission Takes Hungary to Court
For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ on.fb.me European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso says the Commission will start legal proceedings against Hungary. The move comes as a response to a raft of new laws in Hungary which the EU says are not in line with the spirit of democracy. President Jose Manuel Barroso said on Tuesday the European Commission has decided to start legal proceedings against Hungary because of its failure to make changes to a raft of new laws governing its central bank, the judiciary and data protection authority. [Jose Manuel Barroso, EU Commission President]: "The college has just decided to launch infringement proceedings against Hungary on three issues: independence of the central bank, the retirement age of judges and the independence of the data protection authority." Barroso says the EU Commission hopes Hungarian authorities will make changes to respect the European law, but this has not happened so far. [Jose Manuel Barroso, EU Commission President]: "The decisions we have taken today are a reflection of our determination to make sure that European law both in lecture and in spirit are fully respected and a stable legal environment existing in all of our member states. Hungary is a key member of the European family, we do not want a shadow of doubt on the respect for democratic principles and values to remain over the country any longer." Angelina Jolie admits that she had a complete meltdown not so long
ago. Under pressure following her directorial debut on the wartime

'crying in the shower' adding: 'I felt this huge
responsibility and I felt very small'.
Katy Perry ordered her father to apologise for anti-semitic comments he made
during a recent sermon shortly after she announced her divorce from Russell
Brand. Keith Hudson shocked everyone when a video of the sermon hit the net
and showed him making racist jokes and anti-Jewish comments. Insiders
say it was only after Katy went
nuclear on him that he issued an apology, saying 'I apologise for the
hurt I have caused my Jewish friends'.
Michelle WIlliams chats exclusively to OK! about Beyonce and Jay-Z

The Destiny Child's singer said she was "so excited" when she heard

2012-01-07 1st, Mayan day 6 Chuen/Monkey This Video (uploading) Transcript Intro: I will share my latest growth initiations with you – my latest challenges, they could be called – but they're not that. Remember, dear friends, all is the embrace of the divine – only that. Nothing that happens to me, you, or anyone else is anything but that. Only eyes of heart can see this, as far as I know – so go within. With over 1,000 journals online, so far, my recent path is available to share. Though it's quite strange, still, to me, I live both the life of the hermit and yet also the life lived in public – passing strange. Still, no matter, for one's heart always knows best. Following that is the shortest, quickest route to Source that I know of. If you find one better, do let me know. No, never mind. I'm not into short-cuts. They're just not enticing. Every one that I've so far seen has been laced with impurity – of the soul, unwilling to just deal with that which is. Wishing to somehow skip over the now, as if it were unimportant and held no value – this is, to me, some sort of blasphemy. It is in the now and here – the now-here – the nowhere – where divinity abides, ever patient, awaiting our presence, our abidance in That. Now, as usual, I am still in the midst of what I am sharing, here, so I have no great, final conclusions to offer – just my understanding, so far. What I've been shown about self lately has been shocking to me. How things can hide, as it were, in the folds of our garments and go unnoticed for so many years – lifetimes, even – I find this amazing. I draw some comfort from my awareness of the 7% conscious mind. With 93% of our very own mind largely inaccessible, it's little wonder that there would be much about self we're not aware of. I've got to say, though, that doesn't make the experience of it any less amazing...
