Buffett Says Bonds Among `Most Dangerous of Assets'
Feb. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Warren Buffett, the billionaire chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., said low interest rates and inflation should dissuade investors from buying bonds and other holdings tied to currencies. Commuter Train Derails in Bustling Santiago
For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ on.fb.me No injuries were reported after a subway train in Santiago derails and crashes into an apartment building. The empty train was heading to a storage warehouse when it overshot the track. A Santiago subway train suddenly derailed near a children's playground Tuesday, smashing parked vehicles and colliding into a nearby apartment building. The Metro train was not in service at the time of the accident and was carrying no passengers as it made its way to an above ground storage facility. No injuries were immediately reported, but local media reports say the conductor was in a "state of shock" and taken in for a check up. [Local Resident]: "It is a child zone and something worse could have happened; until the authorities take notice of what happened and avoid these catastrophes." The out of service train overshot the tracks apparently still at high speed. Four vehicles in an adjacent parking lot were either damaged or destroyed in the accident. [Accident Witness]: "That car's parking spot is over there. So it dragged it, that's what we saw, when it dragged the car all the way over there." Santiago Metro says the accident took place at a subway warehouse near the Lo Ovalle stop at 10 am local time. From: NTDTV Views: 3 0 ratings Time: 01:22 More in News & Politics
