TTR World Rookie Fest Livigno 2012: Highlights

For the 8th time in a row Norway presented the best team at the Protest World Rookie Fest in Livigno, standing out as the most influent nation in youth competitive snowboard programs. On the podium we also greeted riders from Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Belgium and Poland. The finals of this 3Star TTR slopestyle produced massive tricks and tons of style in the Mottolino Swatch Snowpark, perfectly shaped despite of the lack of snow and the storms of the last weeks: nothing can stop Mottolino resort in Livigno when the Black Yeti squad is awaited.
Norwegian ripper Ole Christian Hagen resulted best rider of the Protest World Rookie Fest 2012 in Livigno. The other male rookies on the podium were swiss talent Michael Scharer and Norwegian rising star Jonas Veddegjerde. The grom male section was dominated by the Norwegians who got the top 4 place. Mons Roislan turned out best under 14: start remembering this name.
Among the girls Polish Katarzina Rusin won in the rookies category, while shredder Katerina Vojakova (Czech Republic) took first place among the groms.
Protest World Rookie Fest 2012 in Livigno was the best edition ever, with a great lifestyle program of activities including "Trip to Chile" and "Art of Flight" video premiere, a Yoga session and Bob Klein's workshop "Wanna be a Pro Snowboarder?" Further experiences counted a city contest at the new Cable Park, a wellness day at the Aquagranda SPA and, finally the unforgettable final party at Miky's Pub.

Pues bien, como digo en el título y como ya he dicho otras veces a mí me gusta el rap político y consciente, porque el hip hop es lucha y no negocio , algo que sabe gente de fuera de la cultura y que a much@s de l@s de dentro se les ha olvidado , a mí me enganchó esta cultura hace años por su tendencia reivindicativa y social, porque venía de los sectores más deprimidos y marginales de la sociedad y en esa situación sólo cabe la protesta, la lucha, la concienciación, la comunidad y una serie de etcéteras que a día de hoy no es tan demasiado presentes en el rap, digamos, mayoritario o comercial.
Sin embargo sí que hay multitud de artistas ( MC’s, graffiter@s, DJ’s, breakers, etc. ) dentro del movimiento que siguen siendo fieles a esos valores sociales implícitos en el hip hop , tanto dentro como fuera del estado xpañol, pero no sólo es cuestión de tener un discurso interesante y comprometido sino de ser coherente en cada momento con dicho discurso en la vida diaria, en caso contrario no sólo no sería rap REAL si no que se estaría apropiando de un ideal, un mensaje, un pensamiento , social y político para sus propósitos, lucrativamente , artísticos, personajes así por desgracia para tod@s l@s hay, también os diré que respeto más a cualquier MC sea cual sea su mensaje si éste es real que no a un fantoche que va de comprometido pero en el fondo es un burgués y vive como tal. Pongamos el caso de Zpu, este MC tiene un conocido tema llamado &8220;Revolución&8221; en el que, supuestamente , llama a la rebeldía popular, hasta aquí bien, pero este mismo individuo presenta en la MTV un programa de rap ( Yo MTV raps ) cobrando una buena pasta seguro, o sea que se hace un tema criticando con fiereza el capitalismo pero en cuanto le ofrecen un buen fajo los ideales se esfuman o&8230; ¿Es que quizás nunca los tuvo? &8230; tampoco me extrañaría demasiado ya que no es la primera vez, ni la última, que pasa&8230; creo que se le llama &8220;venderse&8221; al menos en mi pueblo le llamamos así. Algo que deberían saber tod@s l@s raper@s es que si la MTV se fuese a la quiebra ( o le pusiesen una bomba ) el hip hop ( y la música en genera l) saldría ganando sin duda, ya lo dije en mi twitter y aquí lo reitero: &8220;Si Zpu es el cambio, yo soy conservador.&8221; Tan importante es el discurso de las personas (MC&8217;s) como su coherencia con el mismo. Necesitamos idealistas, no oportunistas.
Supongo ( y digo supongo porque en muchos casos no es así ) que si haces rap es porque tienes algo que trasmitir, una necesidad de expresar tus inquietudes , eso sería lo normal pero como decía no siempre es así, hoy en día hay much@s oportunistas dentro de nuestra cultura dispuest@s a rapear lo más comercial con tal de vender sea o no real, o lo más controvertido tan sólo para dar que hablar , son capaces de mentir en sus letras o hasta plagiar letras de otros , esto se ha convertido en &8220;un todo vale por la fama&8221; para este tipo personajes nada recomendables. Hay algun@s que es evidente su falta de talento, técnica, flow, mensaje y demás pero también los hay que, no contentos con esto, difaman nuestra cultura a la vez que tergiversan sus raíces combativas y proletarias , en mi opinión esta gente no tienen ni idea de lo que es o significa el hip hop, por esa razón yo cada día soy más selectivo con el rap que escucho .
Lo que me gusta del rap, o lo que busco en él, es que me represente o sea que me sienta identificado con su mensaje, ello produce una cierta empatía entre el emisor ( músic@ ) y receptor ( oyente ) y suele pasar cuando las dos partes tienen inquietudes afines, como pueden ser la ideología, la clase social, el estilo de vida, etc. por mi condición ideológica los raps que más me representan o con los cuales me siento más identificado son los que, como bien dice Toni ( Los Chikos del maíz ), &8220; informan y entretienen como Michael Moore&8221; , los que son &8220;de los blancos los más niggas&8221; como dice Metro ( Latecnika ) , los que sueltan frasazas como esta &8220;enseña a los chavales artes marciales pero también clases de modales&8221; de Rats (DeLaRue Squad), los que denuncian injusticias &8220;deberíamos colgar reyes como Rusia hizo con Zares&8221; de Pablo Hasél. Pues sí, este tipo de contenidos son los que busco en el rap y es lo que encuentro en los grupos que escucho, gente comprometida que no han olvidado de donde vienen y que saben a donde van, porque&8230;
¿Qué tipo de &8220;seguidor&8221; seguiría a alguien que no sabe de donde viene ni a donde va? >
