Follow us on Twitter! www.twitter.com Written and Voiced by Dodger www.youtube.com Edited by Schroeder www.youtube.com Art by DJ "Metaly" Ross www.youtube.com www.vghangover.com Transcript The year is 1998, the place Raccoon City, an idyllic community situated just south of the Arklay Mountains in a vague, unnamed state somewhere in the Midwest...and not inhabited by giant raccoons, as one might expect. Raccoon City has been stirred into a panic by a series of grisly murders in which the victim's corpses have been partially devoured. In response to the mounting number of violent awkward cannibalistic homicides in the region, the Police Department opt to send in one of their two STARS teams, an elite group of individuals trained in "Special Tactics" And "Rescue Service," but unfortunately not in voice acting. After Bravo team drops the ball, Alpha team discovers the Bravo helicopter has crashed and the pilot has been violently mauled. With luck on their side, a pack of angry, rotting Dobermans begin attacking Alpha team. Fleeing from the decomposing dogs, the surviving members%mdashJill Valentine and Christ Redfield%mdashhappen upon an expansive, abandoned, creepy mansion in the middle of the dark, spooky, dog-infested woods. Taking refuge, it's now up to them to discover what happened to Bravo team, unravel the mystery behind the murders plaguing Raccoon City, and of course, survive the ... Sam Childers is the first to admit that from an early age he was on the wrong path. By the age of 15 years old I'm putting a needle in my arm shooting up heroin, shooting up cocaine, started selling drugs. Then I went from selling drugs to being a shot gunner for drug deals." He's not proud of his mistakes. [Sam Childers, Founder of Angels of East Africa]: "You know I've hurt a lot of people over the years. The exhibit is preparing for the upcoming Carnival festivities. Internationally renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer visited Rio de Janeiro's Sambadrome on Wednesday. It's the final phase of construction, less than two weeks before Carnival kicks-off. The renewal of the Sambadrome was a way of paying a tribute to Niemeyer's work. [Eduardo Paes, Mayor of Rio de Janeiro]: "This is the second construction to be ready for the 2016 Olympics. We have already finished the Athletes' Park, and the Sambadrome renovations are a way of concluding Niemeyer's work for Rio de Janeiro's Olympic dream. Being able to do the Carnival festivities here in a moment like this, when the city is getting ready for the 2016 Olympics, is a way of honoring this place. This is a touristic destination. Every one that comes to Rio de Janeiro thinks of the Christ the Redeemer statue, the Maracana stadium, the Sugarloaf Mountain and the Sambadrome." The renovation of Sambadrome, the venue for Rio's Carnival parades was among Niemeyer's 15 ongoing projects. The Sambadrome was inaugurated in 1984 and with this latest renovation it will be able to admit 72500 people - 12500 more than last year. Niemeyer, a native of Rio de Janeiro, still works at his office in Copacabana beach. Niemeyer, 104 years old, is ... From: NTDTV Views: 50 0 ratings Time: 02:06 More in News & Politics

Debate: The World Would Be Better Off Without Religion

Presented by Intelligence Squared U.S. Debates on November 15, 2011.
In the words of Blaise Pascal, mathematician and Catholic, "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from a religious conviction." Does religion breed intolerance, violence, and the promotion of medieval ideas? Or should we concede that overall, it has been a source for good, giving followers purpose, while encouraging morality and ethical behavior?

Since this is a holiday show, we kept this one nice and short. (We’d hate to take up your time watching us when you could spend time with your family!)
In this show, we looked back. Kurt and Jake shared with us all their favorite memories of 2011. They also shared with us their goals for Youth Ministry (as a whole) in the coming year.
• All churches would think of ways to break down the “silos” in their ministries
• That all Youth Workers would feel valued by their church
• A culture would be cultivated where we prepare Christ followers to grow on their own.
• That a burden for lost people in our own community would grow.
These are all powerful goals.. and goals that we hope will not only be ours but yours as well.
We shared as well the coming year.. and some big changes that are happening to the show (all for the best.. we promise.)
Lastly, the Simply Youth Ministry Conference is coming up!!
Make sure you register and stay up to date with information here on the website.

Celebrating Christmas Nativity with a Mexican Flair
For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ me.lt Mexicans celebrate their annual religious pageant with an indigenous twist to the traditional Christmas story. Let's have a look. Mexicans kick off the holiday season on Thursday with a traditional Christmas pageant at a 17th century convent in Mexico City. Locally known as "Pastorelas," the pageant originated during the colonial period when Catholic missionaries tried to evangelize the indigenous communities by performing theatrical representations of the birth of Jesus. Since its beginning, the shows central theme has been to promote devotion to Christ whilst merging deeply-rooted Mexican traditions like art, music, food and beverages. [Tito Dreinhoffer, Pageant Director and Writer]: "The Pastorela re-enacts the birth of the baby Jesus, which is a European culture and a foreign religion, but with a battle between the devil and angels that is very Mexican in verse and words. Artisans are producing little objects of popular Mexican art to create a consciousness amongst the public that we have valuable things at our hands." This local take on the birth of Jesus is a way to keep centuries-old customs alive and hold onto tradition. [Juan Torres, Audience Member]: "It's a way to recover what we have lost that is less "Merry Christmas" and more traditional. It merges two cultures and is represented here in the battle between good and evil." With dozens of actors ... From: NTDTV Views: 596 2 ratings Time: 02:01 More in News & Politics

For more news visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Follow us on Facebook ☛ me.lt The Israeli Ministry of Tourism marked a path in the North of the country, calling it the "Gospel Trail." It runs through places where Jesus is believed to have traveled and preached. Our NTD correspondent brings us the story. The Galilee: a mountainous region in the North of Israel. With the November rains green becomes the dominant color. According to the New Testament, about 2000 years ago, through these hills and valleys Jesus travelled, teaching his Gospel and gathering disciples. On Tuesday, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism officially opened the Gospel Trail -- a path leading from Nazareth to Capernaum -- an ancient fishing village on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Minister of Tourism Stas Miseznikov came to honor the event. [Stas Misezhnikov, Israeli Minister of Tourism]: "Here it was the footsteps of Jesus Christ, and those who followed him from his way, from Nazareth, from there he was deported, because he wasn't wanted there...on his way to Capernaum." The Ministry of Tourism hopes that The 63 km long trail will draw great numbers of pilgrims and Christian tourists from around the world - believers who wish to visit the places, and experience the landscape Jesus is said to have travelled. The Gospel Trail is named after his teaching and message to the people of the world. [Uri Sharon, Marketing Administration, Ministry of Tourism]: "I think Jesus stresses the ... Jeremy's Tips
1) When shooting outside, set your white balance to "shade". It just makes the skin tones look better, warmer and healthier.
2) All you really need is 1 light. There's a reason my friend Zack Arias teaches the "One Light Workshop". I take my one light with me everywhere I go and pretty much use it everywhere too.
3) Treat your subject like you would a friend. For most people, getting their photo taken is like going to the dentist. It's very awkward and uncomfortable. They hate it most of the time. So just talk to them, joke around, get to know them. You'll get better images for it.
