---Lap Band Success Stories And Pictures. "My Journey With The Lap Band Has Been Rough... In Fact, I Almost Took Matters Into My Own Hands, And Ended That Journey A few Years Ago...
But the fact that I'm still here today -- slim and happy, is proof that it is possible to overcome, and end your emotional reliance on food, and get the body and life you've always wanted!
Let Me Tell You My Story...
It was the worst week I had since my surgery -- Thanksgiving week. I was at a point where all I was thinking about all day, was food. I had to actually fight to resist my strong cravings...
I just wanted to take one bite of that turkey... just eat one piece of pumpkin pie! I just wanted to be able to taste some of the same things everyone else was eating!
Not Only Was I Still Obese, But I Couldn't Even Enjoy My Own Life!
My cravings were driving me insane, but I did my best to resist the temptation. When I got onto the scales that week, I was dumb-founded - My weight loss had stalled! All the agony and deprivation I'd suffered... was for nothing!
I was so angry at myself for even putting me in such a low, pitiful state in the first place! I was to blame for the way I looked! I was frustrated and... I felt helpless!
My Weight Loss Had Stalled...
Ok, so maybe I needed another refill but nothing could improve my emotional state-of-mind...
I became so disillusioned that I could not remember my reasonsfor wanting to lose weight, and how critical it was for me to resist my favorite foods. All I thought, was that the lap band was not working for me... and I gave in!
I Was Once Too Embarrassed To Share My Story With Anyone, But I'm Telling It To You Today, So You'll Know That You're Not Alone!...
I had lost all hope of losing weight, that I began to out-eat my band, and find ways to cheat it...
One of my favorite foods before the surgery was french fries dipped in a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup. Since I couldn't have it after the lap band, I improvised... and blended it!
I Would Actually Put Fries, Mayo And Ketchup Into A Blender... And Then Drink It!
If you've ever fallen off the wagon then I don't have to tell you about theguilt that sets in after-wards...
I'd drink it, then I'd feel guilty and start to cry...
It would make me sick... but I did it anyway!
I hated myself for doing it... but I did it anyway!
When the scales began to creep back up again, I knew why... but I didn't know what to do about it!
I felt like my life was in a tail-spin. The worst part was that I was just too embarrassed & humiliated to talk to anyone about it!
Have you ever felt that way?
To find out what happened next, scroll down!
In an amazing twist of fate, find out how I found it easier to lose the last 132 lbs than it ever was to lose the first 60 lbs!"

What is Internet Packet Switching?
A very, very simplistic view of Packet Switching. Basically data is split into separate packet. Each Packet can then be send via a different root. Ep.2 Hunger Games/ The Gap/ Out of Luck
[LESS INFO] 0 VIEWS | ADDED 21:12:02 01/11/12
http://www.FilmedInUtah.com This week on Filmed in Utah, I'm going to show you 3 good reasons to watch locally produced web series. Web series are pretty much a condensed TV series online. Each episode is around 5 minutes and can be found on Youtube, Blip, and the Web Series Channel. Utah has become a hub for producing some very original web series and today I am going to share 3 very different shows with you. The first web series just started last week. It's based off of Suzanne Collins best selling books and upcoming feature film "Hunger Games" produced by MainStay Productions. This is by far the most successful web series launch I have ever seen. The production, writing, acting, directing, music, well I guess everything about this first episode was perfect. As of today, this video has received over 36,000 views and shows no sign of slowing down. Plus the timing could not be better. With Lionsgate's feature film release slated for March 23rd 2012 this web series is riding all the publicity being built by the studio for free which translates into a huge fan base. So take a note from Main stay productions. If you want to make a successful online web-series, Try to tie it into a successful book and make it a fan film web series. Our next web series is the first long form full length web series The Gap. The gap opens as Matt and Nicole become engaged. But when Matt wakes up the following morning he finds he is not marring Nicole but Rachel instead and also finds he can't remember the past 7 years . The writing was very smart, natural and witty. This is probably the best written web series I have seen. The stand out performances for me came from Adrienne Hartvigsen, Chantel Flanders, and from Chris Henderson who also wrote the series. The only critic I have about the show was that it was long. like 6+ hours long. I feel web series work better when each episode is is around 5 minutes and no mo more than 6 episodes long. The gap was closer to 35 minutes per episode with 13 episodes total. I am also a stickler about camera work and audio quality. Most of the series had rock solid camera and audio but their were parts where it was difficult to hear the actors and the camera would be very jerky. That said, it is the first full length web series and could easily fit into regular TV broadcast time requirements. So if you would like to check out the series in it's entirety check out the link below. Our last web series is a comedy called Out of Luck. I had a chance to talk with the writer/director of the series as well as one of the lead characters. We talked about how Riley Looks like a young Mark Hamil, and how important it is to have a good story. "Out of Luck" is a super fun web series that everyone should watch. The only thing that I didn't like about the series is that it ended too soon. Here are the links to the shows Hunger Games: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_MNmhZvYeg The Gap: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheGapSeries Out of Luck: http://www.youtube.com/user/outofluckwebseries

RICK PERRY: GETTING’ HIS HATE ON
Cap News reports that despite widespread criticism of his campaign ad entitled "Strong," in which presidential contender Rick Perry said: "there's something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can't openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school,” Perry has vowed to continue alienating huge swaths of the population.
"I will continue to horrify and disgust people until elected president," says the deranged gun-toting Governor, adding future ads will include lines such as…
"There's something wrong in this country when blacks can marry white people but you can't beat one up without getting arrested."
And "There's something wrong in this country when you have to get off a woman just because she says no, but if you go to church on Easter, President Obama will bludgeon you to death."

PROSECUTOR: IF HIS WIFE SAYS HE’S COOL, HE’S COOL
Former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky's wife Dottie has denied allegations that her husband sexually abused boys in their home, and prosecutors say that’s good enough for them.
“We were gonna nail his ass to the wall,” says a source in the DA’s office. “But if a wife vouches for you, that pretty much closes the case.”
CAMERON TO PLAINTIFF: YOUR MOVIE WASN’T GOOD ENOUGH TO RIP OFF
James Cameron is firing back after a lawsuit claimed he ripped off the story for "Avatar" from an employee at his production company. Cameron says he was far too busy plagiarizing other movies to pay attention to his employee’s script.
“Dear God,” said the Oscar winning director. “All I did was transcribe Pocahontas, Ferngully: the last rain forest and Dances with Wolves, stuck ‘em in space, made the dialogue crap and turned everyone blue. If that’s a crime, then I don’t live in Hollywood.”

How to Enable Remote Collaboration on Excel 2010

"http://go.tagjag.com/gotomanage - Microsoft Excel is a powerful tool for business use, but did you know you can collaborate with others on a workbook? Setting these options up can be difficult, if you don't know where to look. Microsoft Excel 2010 has brought web-based collaboration to the desktop client. Enabling this will allow you to collaborate on a spreadsheet with people across the Web, eliminating the need to email a file back and forth while waiting for everyone to add their components one-by-one. To enable this feature, you'll need to select the Review tab using the ribbon at the top of the Excel window. From there, you'll see an option for you to share your workbook. Select the options to allow changes by more than one user and Workbook Merging. This should bring up a set of configurable options to refine your collaborative experience. Add your intended collaborators via their email address(es) and you're ready to go. Setting up a collaborative workbook in Excel 2010 is a great way to save time and energy sending a copy of the spreadsheet to multiple people, awaiting their changes, and trying to keep up with which version of the document you have at any given time. With GoToManage from Citrix, I was able to log in to my father's machine located several states away from my home office, set the collaborative options, and show him how to get this done without even having to log in to my desktop computer. I did it all from my iPad thanks to a free app from Citrix. GoToManage is a great way to handle day-to-day tasks, troubleshoot ongoing issues, and monitor critical IT resources from anywhere in the world. Occupy Oakland Veterans' March Against Police Brutality, 11/11/11: Video
[LESS INFO] 41 VIEWS | ADDED 05:48:26 11/22/11
On Veterans' Day, November 11th, veterans groups including Iraq Veterans Against the War and supporters held a march against police brutality to demand an end to the violence by Oakland police, Alameda County Sheriffs deputies, and other forces that has left at least three former members of the U.S. armed services seriously injured as well as numerous others. Scott Olsen was critically injured when he was shot in the head with a police projectile at close range on the evening of October 25th. Kayvan Sabeghi was placed in intensive care with a lacerated spleen after police beat him and denied him medical care in the early morning hours of November 3rd. And Doug Connor was abused in jail after having been arrested on November 3rd. As the march wound its way through downtown, chants included "Stop Beating Veterans, Stop Beating Everyone," "Tax the Rich, End the Wars," and "Occupy Oakland, Not Afghanistan." The march stopped briefly at Obama's Oakland campaign headquarters on Telegraph Avenue before continuing on to its final destination, Oakland police headquarters at 7th Street and Broadway. There, speakers took turns addressing the Oakland police in riot gear who stood in front of the main doors. Oakland police were exhorted to stop brutalizing Occupy Oakland participants and to refuse to follow illegal orders. Marchers departed OPD headquarters chanting, "Don't Raid the Camp, Don't Raid the Camp."

Speaking on camera, Ai talks about why his case is linked to the wider issue of justice in China. The artist has become a rallying point since the Chinese regime began a nationwide surge of arrests and detentions earlier this year. Chinese dissident artist Ai Weiwei is back in sight. On Wednesday, he gave his first on camera interview since he was arrested in June. [Ai Weiwei, Artist]: "More or less, I was like a hostage half year ago. Now I'm paying the ransom, and I feel I was robbed. But, you know, officially [robbed]." The ransom he's talking about is the 1.4-million dollar bond the Chinese regime ordered him to pay in back taxes. He was given a little over a week to raise the money. But what the Chinese regime couldn't have foreseen was the incredible outpouring of support for Ai Weiwei. Tens of thousands donated money to him. Some even contributed by folding money into paper planes and sent them flying into Ai's home. Ai says he plans to pay back everyone who sent him money. By paying the bond, Ai opens the way to appeal his case, which he feels is just a ruse to cover the real purpose of his 81-day arrest in June%mdashsilencing a critic of the regime. [Ai Weiwei, Artist]: "As an individual citizen, my innocence is linked with the country's innocence. We are not only doing this for ourselves ... The event which is in it's 151st year has attracted over 100000 people to the Flemington racecourse, including the rich and famous in fabulous outfits. Analysis: Apple CEO Tim Cook's Presentation Debut
[LESS INFO] 0 VIEWS | ADDED 17:34:00 10/14/11
(Image source: CNET/CBS) BY TRACY PFEIFFER ANCHOR MEGAN MURPHY You're watching multisource tech news analysis from Newsy. The setting was the same: big screen, dark background, shiny new toys to present. But Apple’s latest media event was noticeably without the famous black turtleneck of Steve Jobs. Now, analysts and business minds are picking apart the debut performance of new CEO Tim Cook. (Video: NY1) Disappointment over the lack of an iPhone 5 notwithstanding, a writer for the New Yorker says the presentation was, well, yawn-worthy. “In the last few years, Apple has revolutionized phones, tablets, and product launches. ...Tuesday, however, Apple seemed to stumble with its theatrics. The company held one of its fabled launches … and bored people. ...The blogosphere and the stock market responded by getting pissed.” Give him some slack, says a Forbes contributor. He was never expected to be as good of a salesman as Jobs. “It’s nearly impossible to satisfy the audience after they’ve seen the best. But Cook has no choice. He’s the new CEO of the world’s most admired brand and it’s not his fault that he’s being compared to the world’s greatest presenter.” And an analyst tells CNN, Cook’s era means more emphasis on product, rather than presentation. “Tim Cook is kind of the perfect guy at the perfect time for this company. He inherits the company which is doing extraordinarily well and yet still has tremendous potential. …Mr. Jobs was the showman and everyone loved to see him, but really the event is the stuff. Whoever presents the stuff is sort of getting in the way of the stuff.” But a writer for Memeburn argues, showmanship is just as important as the gadget these days. “Cook is not the ‘innovator-in-chief’ Steve Jobs was. …He doesn’t have the style and flair that Jobs had and that’s just not good enough. Keynotes are more than just market share and software updates they are supposed to be exciting...” Other critics have knocked Cook’s decision to act more as an MC during the presentation-- passing off product unveils to other execs. But a writer for The Washington Post argues, that was actually a good move. “...he’ll have to prove to Apple’s fans ... that the company hasn’t lost the spark of innovation and excitement that was so closely identified with his predecessor. Showcasing the talent that’s at Apple by spreading around the speaking responsibilities is a good way to show that Jobs’ transition to chairman hasn’t changed much, if anything, at the company.” Transcript by Newsy

Tony Perkins Dismisses Ron Paul's Value Voters Straw Poll Win
[LESS INFO] 9 VIEWS | ADDED 01:00:42 10/13/11
The Family Research Center conducted their own straw poll, which is made up of the James Dobson faction of the religious right - and lo and behold the winner was Ron Paul. That should be a significant victory for Paul, but Tony Perkins, their new leader and Value Voters organizer dismissed Paul's victory as an outlier and in essence denounced his own voters and the legitimacy of his own poll. >
The "Values Voter" summit was held in Washington this past weekend. The event was sponsored by The Family Research Council, a social conservative group. The weekend got off to a rousing start Friday night when Robert Jeffress, a prominent Texas pastor, criticized Mitt Romney and his faith, calling Mormonism a "cult."
And in the Values Voter straw poll, Rep. Ron Paul came out on top with 37 percent of the vote.
This morning on American Morning, CNN's Carol Costello talks with Tony Perkins, the president of the Family Research Council, about Jeffress' controversial remarks and why he believes Ron Paul's straw poll win is insignificant.
He was so ridiculous that the TeaNN host just laughed at his rationale for dissing Paul's win. >
Costello: So Ron Paul probably means nothing and Herman Cain does.
Perkins Well, this is...the majority of the people came there for a summit to hear all of the candidates. They didn't come there to support a particular candidate. They came to listen to the candidate and express their preference. Ron Paul bused in over six hundred people on Saturday morning not to attend a conference, but to just to hear his speech and vote.
There was early news made at this summit when Pastor Jeffress openly attacked Mitt Romney's Mormon faith by calling it a "cult." The results of the straw poll show a couple of other bad signs for Romney, the Republican Villagers choice for the nomination. First, the type of evangelical that is attracted to the FRC does indeed not trust Romney's religion at all and secondly, he finishes behind everyone one of the remaining GOP candidates outside of Gingrich, who align themselves with religion. Well, they all pander there, but still. Not good, Mittens. >
Paul 37%
Cain; 23%
Santorum: 16%
Perry: 8%
Bachmann: 8%
Romney: 4%
Gingrich: 3%
Cain's strong showing is also indicative of the dissatisfaction the right-wing base has with its field and with Romney in general. Perry's immigration stand has eroded his support entirely in the Christian community and put his bid in terrible jeopardy for the nomination. So, they are trying to show America that they aren't racists this early in the process and are flocking to Cain, even though he has no chance of winning.
