* Following are Gov's First of all, create a DWORD value named OEMBackground in the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background key, and set its value to 1 (You can delete the value if you want to restore the settings). Then, create a folder named backgrounds in the path %windir%\system32\oobe\info.
At last, copy the JPG files according to your monitor's resolution. For example,

For more news and videos visit ➡ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ➡ http Add us on Facebook ➡ on.fb.me Thousands of people in Berlin greeted 2012 in an energetic fashion, taking part in the traditional New Year's Day run, around the center of the city. Here's more. Thousands of people braved the dreary weather in Berlin on Sunday (January 1) to mark the beginning of 2012 with a traditional New Year's Day run. The organizers say more than 3000 people took part in the event, taking runners on a 4-kilometer circuit from the city's Landmark Brandenburg Gate, down the famous Unter den Linden boulevard, on to the Berlin cathedral and back. People of all ages participated in the 41st Berlin New Year Run%mdashsome even brought their toddlers in prams and dogs on leads. Despite the New Year festivities, runner, Nick Rote, said he was up and moving in time to take part in the run. [Nick Rote, Runner]: "I didn't party for too long. I was in bed by 4(am) and got up at 09:30. It's raining a bit which isn't great but we'll see; we will run anyway." Others felt it was a great way to start 2012. [Antje Goern, Runner]: "Great to run a bit, to have fun, and to welcome in the New Year with a bit of sport." Crowds of supporters cheered the runners over the finishing line, rewarding them with a certificate and a hot sweet tea%mdashweather conditions of five degrees and a light drizzle did not seem to dampen anyone's enthusiasm. Just 12 hours earlier, hundreds-of-thousands of people had ... From: NTDTV Views: 17 1 ratings Time: 01:47 More in Sports

1950s Tibet The Bamboo Curtain Falls (Part 2/3) ★★★★★
Click here for more Tibet videos www.youtube.com China is incurring huge expenditure in transferring and consolidating the Chinese population in Tibet. Massive investment has been made to build a network of modern highways all over Tibet. China can also boast of having laid the highest railway track in the world that connects Lhasa with Beijing. In fact, China often complains that its "civilizing" mission in Tibet is costing the government and people of China large amounts in terms of subsidies to an under-developed region. According to official Chinese statistics, the level of annual subsidies to the Tibetan Autonomous Region (TAR) in the late 1980s was around 1 billion yuan or $270 million. However, all the infrastructure that China has built in Tibet has not made the lives of the native Tibetans any better; it has only taken the exploitative apparatuses of the Chinese government deeper. Link: woodsmoke.wordpress.com China's Ministry of Land and Resources has announced monumental new resource discoveries all across Tibet. The findings are the culmination of a secret 7-year, $44 million survey project, which began in 1999. More than 1000 researchers were divided into 24 separate groups and fanned out across the Qinghai-Tibet plateau to geologically map the entire Tibetan region. Their findings have lead to a discovery of 16 major new deposits of copper, iron, lead, zinc and other minerals worth an estimated $128 billion. These discoveries add to Tibet's proven deposits ... SPLASH 2011: Dave Thomas - On Modern Application Development
[LESS INFO] 25 VIEWS | ADDED 17:37:56 11/10/11
It's been a while since we've been lucky enough to catch up with Dave Thomas . Dave is well known for his work in object oriented programming language design, dynamic language development (SmallTalk), and virtual machines. Dave did the initial development of the Eclipse IDE and is currently the CEO of Bedarra Corporation. Dave is a recognized leader in the discipline of making software. A godfather in software engineering. Many technical conferences benefit from his support and influence.
Here, we learn about the history of SPLASH and find out what's on Dave's mind with respect to modern app development methodologies. Dave shares his wise opinions on the state of objects, JavaScript, Dart, browser DOM, model-driven development, IDEs, and more. Dave is on a mission to democratize software engineering for the masses by removing unnecessary complexity in programming abstractions (has Dave lost his faith in objects?). What does this mean?
Thank you for spending time with C9, Dave! Always a pleasure. We'll see you again at YOW! 2011
Tune in. Enjoy.

Recently, Channel 9 was invited to attend the great SPLASH conference . What is SPLASH? Systems, Programming, Languages and Applications: Software for Humanity . A big thanks to the SPLASH event organizers for inviting me and my camera to engage some key computer scientists and engineers in geeky, fun conversation! SPLASH is a great event! I learned a ton and met many amazing computer scientists and students.

Southern Tier Pumking - Beer Review
Do you like pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread? Pumpkin beers are very polarizing beers. Some people love them and some people hate them. Pumking from Southern Tier is no exception. It is a bold beer with big, buttery pumpkin spice flavor that forces you to come down on one side or the other. BBA T-SHIRTS ARE FOR SALE: www.betterbeerauthority.com Partial Transcript: "On Tap -- Southern Tier Pumking Hi. I'm James Knott and this is your Better Beer Authority. Fall is here and so are the seasonal pumpkin beers. Pumking from the Southern Tier Brewing Company is one of the more popular pumpkin beers. The brewery was opened in Lakewood, NY in 2002. This Imperial Pumpkin Ale comes in at 8.6% ABV. Southern Tier releases it in August. The brewery recommends drinking it out of a Goblet at 40 degrees Fahrenheit. They brew the beer with 2-row pale malt and caramel malt. Magnum hops are used for bittering and Amarillo hops are used for aroma. It is available in 22 oz bomber bottles and kegs. Q%A Pumking gets a (???) on the BBA scale. What's your favorite pumpkin beer? Do you even like pumpkin beers? Is pumpkin your favorite fall seasonal style? Let us know in the comment section. Thanks for watching. I'm James Knott and this is your Better Beer Authority. Boo." From: AgileHProductions Views: 1108 20 ratings Time: 09:47 More in Howto & Style

euronews the network - Should Greece sort out its own problems?
www.euronews.net Hello I'm Chris Burns and welcome to The Network, where we connect into a matrix of news makers to get to the heart of an issue and watch out, they've got to answer in 25 seconds or less, or else. Let's take a look at that issue right now. The Greek streets have been surging with anger as spending cuts and tax increases intensify. Many see the austerity imposed by the EU ECB IMF Troika, as aggrevating the country's recession. Yet the government is obliged to slash pensions and wages to qualify for the next 8 billion euro bailout. From: Euronews Views: 364 6 ratings Time: 09:47 More in Shows
