Welcome to ICBW.tv
Actress Demi Moore was rushed to a hospital after allegedly becoming semi-consciousness as a result of inhaling whip-its. Whip-its Demi? You’re like 50 years-old. You’re not a teenager anymore, and doing the drugs of a teenager still wont make Ashton Kutcher come back to you.
Everywhere I turn, people are freaking out about Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak discussing the fact that he and co-host Vanna White would down a few margaritas between tapings of their show back in the 80s. Why wouldn’t they? Is Pat Sajak’s job so taxing that he can’t be a little lubed up? Think about it. Pat Sajak says three phrases; Welcome to Wheel of Fortune, Spin the wheel, Would you like to buy a vowel?. That’s it. And Vanna, she just had to walk to the white box that lit up. Even Demi Moore on whip-its could handle that?

There are reports that NBC executives are now potentially balking at airing an episode of Fear Factor that involves contestants drinking donkey goo. I’ve never understood Fear Factory. Seriously, what fear involves drinking a glass of donkey goo? I’m deathly afraid of being at the center of a donkey party. One final question, who was responsible for getting the donkey goo?
Update: NBC has officially taken the "donkey goo " episode off the schedule.

The Endless Winter: 3 "London By The Sea"
[LESS INFO] 1 VIEWS | ADDED 15:14:26 01/11/12
Brighton is more famed for jellied eels and rebellious youth cultures than it is for it's inconsistent surf. Nevertheless, a thriving community of passionate and committed surfers has emerged from it's embryonic stages in the mid 60s, when a small group of Brighton locals first paddled out against a backdrop of warring mods and rockers.
Just as surf culture had made its way across the Altantic in the early 60s so too did 'sidewalk surfing' in the mid to late 70s. Naturally the local surf crews quickly developed a synergy with skateboarding as it helped to get them through the flat spells. At the heart of this scene was and still is Brighton legend Jock Paterson a top-surfer, champion skateboarder and now a leading figure in British Stand Up Paddle Boarding (www.tribalwave.org).

COLT KNUCKLES! - replace wheel bearings & seals
How to replace wheel bearings and seals. More importantly, this is how to make turbo DSM axles fit in a Dodge Colt, Mitsubishi Mirage, Hyundai Elantra or similar chassis. The Colt's 4x100 hub includes a captive rotor and packed bearing assembly which is incompatible with a DSM axle. Using turbo DSM or Galant VR-4 hubs is ONE solution, but the '92-95 Mitsubishi Expo (or Eagle Summit Wagon, Dodge Colt Vista mini vans) front knuckle is a much better fit. If the tie rods and lower control arms are different lengths, then when the suspension is compressed, the camber and toe are affected because the hub center will twist off-axis. This results in the tire pointing in a different direction when the suspension is under load and can cause the car to steer off-track. The expo hubs have a longer steering arm that lines up the centers of the lower ball joint and tie rod a lot better, resulting in less articulation under load. I've known several people to have used this trick. I'm not a pioneer. I didn't discover this. I just read about it and know it. Also, there's extremely-detailed information with video illustrations of how bump steer works at the following link... www.4g61t.org The videos are on page 2. The topic is exactly what I'm demonstrating in this video because it's dealing with precisely the task I needed to accomplish on my Colt's front suspension. A Litha Celebration! Mass For The Shut-Out June 21, 2011
[LESS INFO] 19 VIEWS | ADDED 20:05:19 06/19/11
Did you ever notice that on the Wheel Of The Year, Litha is the Sabbat directly opposite Yule? In fact, as we in the Northern Hemisphere celebrate Litha, they are having Yule in the Southern Hemisphere. And that fact has some implications worth noticing.
A baby was born at Yule. We've seen him go through all of the stages of growing and coming of age, and the last Sabbat was Beltaine, where we celebrated his wedding. Here at Litha, we celebrate his fulfillment! It is too soon to harvest, that will be soon enough. But it is a good time to look at what the baby born at Yule has grown to become!
And here is Litha's gift to us, as expressed in a reading which came from a place which you might not have expected. But the point of that reading was that someone was given something that they didn't put to use, and here at Litha we celebrate someone's fulfillment. In other words, the baby born at Yule now has all he needs to carry out what he needs to do.
So much of theology deals with stories of people who were trying to get what was already theirs. And some of us surprise ourselves when we discover how much we have.
And so let's celebrate this, and learn!
Blessed Be!

Porting an eBay 20g turbocharger
The price of this turbo will make it a popular purchase, so I figured I'd air out some tech about ways to improve it. This thing is not for everybody. I wouldn't feel comfortable bolting it on my car the way it comes out of the box. I could complain about its flaws except that so far absolutely none of them have been a deal-breaker for me. To me it's like an empty canvas. I promise to eat those words if it happens, and share my poop. Usually I can easily correct these flaws myself and so can you. BUT! If this thing turns out to perform well with what I do to it... It could easily be a cheap, quick ticket to an 11-second car. Something you could do with a free running 1g, a hacksaw, and about $500 worth of fuel upgrades. Yeah, that would be ridiculous, and I'm bolting it onto a well-modified car... But that being possible speaks volumes for what a DSM can really do. This is no big deal to me. I'd rather guinea pig my car for you in HD so you guys can decide whether or not you'd spend your money on this. Really it's an experiment because this isn't my daily-driver, and it contributes to building a better Colt. Institute for Automobile Economics DW-TV: To tell us more, we've got Andreas Bremer with us. He heads up the Institute for Automotive Market Research in the German city of Essen. Thirteen liters every hundred kilometers, we just heard there. You've got to have a lot of money for that. Andreas Bremer: You'd better, yes. It's not the trend of the future, I'd have to say. DW-TV: Are these monsters going to become the new vintage cars of tomorrow, do you think? Andreas Bremer: Probably, probably. I mean there's always going to be people who have the money and are willing to spend it, because these cars are fascinating. That's why we look at them, that's why there are shows about them. DW-TV: What about the job of auto-tuner, though - is that going to become something of the past as well? Andreas Bremer: I don't really think so. For one, there are always going to be people who enjoy the high-power engine, and on the other hand, the tuner is going to get a different task. With all of the knowledge about engines, the real challenge is going to be: reduce fuel consumption and still give pleasure to driving one of these cars. DW-TV: Well as far as performance goes, that's something that's really big on display at the Geneva Motor Show this week. Is that something we've forgotten - that we were going to go green at some stage? Andreas Bremer: Well that's part of the problem, really - going green and having fun at the same time with the car is really what the car industry has to find a solution for. It seems like we've forgotten that the green car is on our agenda. But I think it's going to come back, sooner or later. DW-TV: What are some of the changes that we are going through right now, as far as JOBS in the sector go? Andreas Bremer: Well, cars have become computers on wheels really, when you look at it. Everything is connected and there are so many sensors. And it's a real system integration, and we're going to see electricians become more important for cars, computer specialists who work with them, and don't forget the high-voltage that they have to deal with, so the mechanic with oil on his fingers - he's not going to be a thing of the past, but there's going to be a whole lot less of him. DW-TV: Now the car industry is, of course, one of the big employers here in Germany. That's clear when you take a look at the numbers. In the year 2000, it was about 750,000 workers. That grew and grew until the financial crisis hit, of course. And then things really went downhill - we can see that there. Now though Daimler, for example, is creating 10,000 new jobs worldwide. It's almost schizophrenic - can you explain that? Andreas Bremer: Well one thing is that the cars that were sold during this period, the one-and-a-half years of the crisis, were already produced. So now demand is coming up again, slowly however, but these cars need to be produced. And they will be produced, but just not in Germany - but elsewhere. And that's of course part of the problem that we'll face in Germany - that production is going to other countries. DW-TV: Well, another problem we're facing is petrol prices - they're so high at the moment. Is that something that could threaten the industry or put a damper on job creation, for example? Andreas Bremer: I'm afraid so. If it's a long-term phenomenon that we're watching here, I'm afraid that we will see consumers putting purchases off. If it's mid-term or short-term, I don't think we're going to have much of a problem. DW-TV: And just briefly, any other developments that could change things in the future for the car industry? Andreas Bremer: Well the main thing really is the petrol crisis right now - if it is going to be one. And if that lasts - if Saudi Arabia creates problems, then this is what we're going to have to deal with. DW-TV: Andreas Bremer, thank you very much for coming in. (Interview: Ben Fajzullin)

Miller / Molenaar #03
[LESS INFO] 3 VIEWS | ADDED 22:22:40 02/22/11
TVGreen's Time Machine presents "The Miller" from the series "Claim to Fame" Now follows a spectacular and very necessary part of the trade. The runner has to be raised in order to edge the bed. That's why the area is first thoroughly cleared of flour. First, the millstone clamps are hooked on; it stays in place because it weighs approximately eighteen hundred kilograms. You lift the stone by turning the screw with its extra long handles. It rises inch by inch. And while the mill keeps grinding with the other stones, the handle creaks and groans under its weight. Slowly, slowly. There we go. Turn it. Right, that's the way. And now, just let the grindstone hang on its side. The stone first has to be cleaned up, of course. The grooves in the bed are deepened. It is these grooves which determine the quality of the flour. You can have beautiful grains of corn, but if they aren't ground well, forget it. The room is darkened and a bright light is put in place. Light from one angle is important, otherwise you can't see what you're doing. Elbows on thighs. The hammer's handle held tight, with two hands. Movement from the wrist. This is called dressing the stone. He likes working on the bluish rock. It doesn't bother him that his hands are full of blue marks from pieces shattered by the hammer. 'My hands show my trade,' he says proudly. The miller's tattoo. Meanwhile, the rest of the day at the mill is the same. The baker comes to pick up his sacks of whole-wheat. When his van is loaded, he heads for his bakery. 'A quiet mill doesn't grind' is the saying. And the truth is that increasingly more mills have become quiet in the past fifty years, for many reasons. The fact that the Dutch stopped eating whole-wheat bread after World War II added to the disappearance of many mills. The few millers who went on grinding worked for cattle-feeders. The revival of interest for the mill, whole-wheat bread, the old-fashioned baker, came in the Seventies. And partly thanks to the health craze which hit the Low Countries, the demand for real bread grew, with consequences for the once popular white bread. Frans has seen the fall and rise of the flour-mill and bakery. But whatever was in the air, he would never leave his mill. And his father had made sure that he would never become dependent on it. Frans is also a traditional baker. There are few millers who know every sound of their mill and what is behind it. A lot of craftsmanship has been lost in the last years. You have to want to do more than paint the outside every once in a while. The inside also has to look good to work. That requires a good deal of technical feeling, experience with wood and knowledge of the friction and wonderful mechanical energy let loose as the mill grinds and groans. You have to know how to maintain the mill, for instance on the cap floor, which is called a grease floor for good reason. If you own a mill, you have to turn it to preserve it. Again and again it is impressive to see and hear the sails being stopped with the brake, either-from inside or from outside on the gallery. The brake is the circular band which clamps on the outside of the axle wheel, so that the powerful grinding mechanism stops. By lowering the beam, the long sabre-like iron tightens the brake around the axle wheel. it looks like a simple operation, but without years of experience and feeling, you could ruin the mill. Once the system is stopped, you can turn the wings to the wind. The mill isn't just turned to the wind. There's storm in the air. He goes to cut the sails. 'It's the best job there is,' says Frans. 'You walk the whole day; you're outside, working with nature. Look, that's where it'll come. Ach, nothing will happen to me, boy. This miller has tackled every wind, eh. Isn't that something? Isn't that something wonderful? Doesn't that make every single day worth it?' broadcast footage: http://www.stockshot.nl/stockshots/beroepen.htm Music title Hypnothis by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) licensed under Creative Commons "Attribution 3.0" webcasted by http://www.tvgreen.nl

SALES TEAM....GREAT!!! When I was looking for a car, I went to check out Basil Resale Center on Sheridan. They had a wide variety of cars available. The sales person was great and he got a great deal for me without much negotiation at all. I was also allowed to test drive a couple of cars before even discussing the deal. The sales guy showed me all the documents for the car like the car fax report, the maintenance history, and since the car had gone through their shop, he also showed me the work they had done on it.
EFFORTS DEEPLY APPRECIATED!!! Hi Nick, Just wanted to send a note of THANKS for all you did in helping me in getting a new vehicle! All your efforts are deeply appreciated. I absolutely love my new set of wheels! You're the Best!!! Thank you Audrey OH! And Thank you for the cookies in the cup- that was a very thoughtful surprise!
