There was an outpouring of grief in Tinseltown over the death of Monkee Davy Jones last week. The singer had been in good health and his heart attack and subsequent death at 66 stunned his former band members and friends in the showbiz capital. Leading the tributes were his bandmates with whom he recently had a reunion tour. Other celebrities including Will Smith, Boy George, Alyssa Milano, Rosie O’Donnell, Neil Diamond and Elijah Wood also tweeted their salutes to the British-born singer who was a ’60s icon. And Just when you thought the nasty custody battle between Halle Berry and her ex Gabriel Aubry couldn’t get any more toxic, it does! the Oscar winner has fired her longtime lawyer and hired one of Hollywood’s most famous legal pitbulls. Neal Hersh, who advised Halle through two divorces, was let go last week in favour of Stephen Kolodny, the man who represented Oksana Grigorieva in her epic court battles with Mel Gibson. Friends of Angelina Jolie say she is seething that her pose at the Oscars has turned her into a global laughing stock. A host of comedy pics have gone viral with Ange’s leg superimposed on everyone from Darth Vader to her boyfriend Brad Pitt. The stars of The Hangover films are demanding at least 10 million plus a share of the profits to do a third installment of the hit comedy franchise ‚Äì and sources familiar with the negotiations say they‚Äôre almost certain to get what they want. For the first Hangover film, Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms each got paid around 500,000. For the second, they negotiated 3 million each and they are on their way up. A Warner Bros source admits it will happen saying "they're holding all the cards. Much was made of Jim Carrey's daughter Jane's recent appearance on American Idol ‚Äì in particular the praise lavished on her for braving the auditions. But insiders say all was not what it seems and that Carrey Jr didn't exactly have to slum it. A source tells is that, Her audition was pre-arranged with the producers.
