Chinese Regime Says No to Sanctions on Iran
For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ me.lt The Chinese regime has openly opposed new sanctions on Iran. This comes after several Western countries announced tougher sanctions to isolate Iran's economy and prevent it from developing nuclear weapons. Experts believe the Chinese regime is against sanctions because of its interest in Iranian oil and trade deals. The Chinese regime announced on Wednesday it is against imposing new sanctions to resolve Iran's nuclear plans. The statement was made after Britain, Canada and the United States announced on Monday tougher sanctions aimed at isolating Iran's economy. The new proposals include freezing Iran's central bank and suspending purchases of Iranian oil. Speaking at a press conference in Beijing, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said improved negotiations and cooperation should be the approach. [Liu Weimin, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman]: "We believe pressure and sanctions will not fundamentally solve the Iranian issue, but will complicate the issue." The tougher sanctions came about following a report from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) revealing Iran's nuclear aspirations to develop nuclear weapons. But experts on the Middle East believe the Chinese regime has its eyes on Iran's oil%mdashthat the regime is opposing the sanctions to avoid jeopardizing its trade relations with Iran. Iran is China's third major supplier of oil. China imported ... From: NTDTV Views: 150 8 ratings Time: 01:58 More in News & Politics

Secrecy Surrounds Investigation into China's High-Speed Rail Collision
For more news visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ me.lt After a deadly train crash in Wenzhou, doubt was cast over the safety of China's ever growing high-speed railways. But reports from the three-month investigation into the cause of the accident are being kept from the public. People across China have anxiously been awaiting the results of an investigation into a deadly high-speed rail collision in Wenzhou. The July crash killed 40 and injured hundreds more. But so far, the public has been left in the dark, the results of the investigation have been locked away by the Chinese regime. Further confusing matters are conflicting statements by probe deputy director, Wang Mengshu. A railway expert, Wang was quoted on Monday in state-run Beijing Times that mismanagement and human error caused the crash. Shortly after, the story was withdrawn. The very next day he told CCTV that he was misquoted and had not been involved in the entire investigation. Over the past decade, China's high-speed rails have spread throughout the country. But incidents like the Wenzhou tragedy has raised concerns that safety was overlooked in the mad dash to build. Preliminary reports blame the crash on defective signaling systems. It's unclear whether or not the Chinese regime will make the results of the investigation public. From: NTDTV Views: 29 2 ratings Time: 01:28 More in News & Politics

Putin's China Visit Marks Major Russia-China Trade Boost
For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ me.lt On Wednesday, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin wrapped up his two-day visit to China. While there, he made billions of dollars worth of trade deals--and made some political statements as well. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has wrapped up the last day of his brief trip to Beijing, after meetings with some of the Chinese regime's top figures. These included Communist Party leader Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao, and head of the National People's Congress, Wu Bangguo. Putin expressed hope his two-day visit would broaden trade with China, which he expects to grow to $200 billion US dollars by 2020. That would mean an over 300% increase from current figures. Key to this growing trade relationship is a vast gas export deal, which the two countries have been haggling over for five years. It would see Russia, one of the world's great energy exporters, providing huge quantities of gas to energy-hungry China. So far, the devil has been in the details, with no agreement over many specific parts of the plan. But, at least according to Putin, the two sides are closer than ever to inking that deal. His visit also saw $7 billion dollars worth of other deals in various sectors, including biotechnology and space exploration. All of this relationship strengthening comes as Russia and China seem to increasingly have much in common politically, as well. The countries joined ...
