About Us

Channels.com is the first DVR for Web video. Just like you record TV shows with a Tivo(tm) or DVR connected to your television, with Channels.com you can record and watch video shows that are available on the Web. Channels.com includes the Web's largest index of video shows - now including over 150,000 shows from thousands of large and small video Web sites.

Channels.com is free. There are no fees and registration is optional. The Channels index of video shows is open. If you find a show on the Web that's not in our index, you can add it yourself (you need to register to do this).

Channels was developed by a San Francisco-based team including Sean Doherty, John Goecke, David Martinez, Brian O'Rourke, Alex Soto and Teresa Hardy. The company is funded by Sean Doherty and some friends.
