Mnniska was starting to become one of my favourite creators... and now I hate him. Mission imPAWssible! is a fiendishly difficult but infuriatingly addictive platformer with one simple mechanic and a helluva lot of deadly spikes. If your thumbs don't snap off before the end you're judged and award a prize based on how many times you died. How did I do? Well, I received a lovely, steaming pile of faeces which is why this video has been heavily edited from the original 20-minute playthrough. Despite the torture, I don't hesitate in saying that you have to play this level! Optimised for iPod Touch/iPhone.

Over one year after the LittleBigPlanet 2 Beta started I'd assumed that we'd seen the last of the beta level re-makes but SneakySteve1983 has bought back one of my favourites. Squared is one of those levels that's easy to play but very hard to ace. The gameplay is simple at it's fairly easy to just get to the end of the level. But the intentionally twitchy controls meant that if you're a high score chaser you'll find yourself playing the level over and over again to try and grab every point square without dying. Optimised for iPod Touch/iPhone.

Funky Bones III is an incredible, highly-polished platformer from loz2502. The creepy yet beautiful Day of the Dead-style theme is reminiscent of The Wedding from LBP 1 and makes for some excellent visuals and gameplay. The level takes a brief break from platforming half way through as you guide Madmoiselle Diop through the dark to find her lost children. This is one of the best creations I've played in a while. I recommend trying this level with a friend as I did (thanks FizzyLizzie!) - it can be a little brain bending to control the player and the light at the same time. Light The Way is great fun to play and looks incredible, particularly when you activate 'black light mode' which reverses the light's effect. Optimised for iPod Touch/iPhone.

Angels of the Sky is an amazing WWII-themed side-scrolling shooter where you use your machine guns and bombs to fight your way through waves of enemy aircraft and shoot down the parachuting pilots as they eject. The difficulty ramps up well as you face a range of brilliantly detailed 1940′s-era fighter planes. The level climaxes in a tricky, multi-stage boss battle which I’ve not included in the video (because my attempt at it was shameful). At World’s End has to take the biscuit as the most striking LittleBigPlanet 2 level I’ve ever seen. DrunkenFist_Lee’s uses lighting and sound to create an atmosphere unlike any level I’ve seen before. The creator lists the ICO, Oddworld and Out of This World games among the inspirations for this level and Limbo’s influence is clear in this level’s simple gameplay. Like these games, At World’s End is something that has to be played to be fully appreciated so I highly recommend you queue this one up. This level has been MM Picked since I published the video.
