As part of our move to the Mac we needed a better video editing solution for creating the show. Previous episodes were done on a PC which felt wrong so to feel clean we moved to Final Cut Express. Well you have all seen the Apple ads so you know a Mac can run Microsoft Office 2008 natively, but the question is "Is it worth it?". In this episode we do a comparison between MS Office 2008 and iWork 08 and show you that compatibility between the suites is well, pretty good. You decide for yourself, but I am sticking to iWork 08, it is cheap, loads of cool features and it is not Microsoft! Also we show you how you can integrate Windows applications into the dock using VMWare Unity, so if you already have a copy of MS Office for the PC you could also use that.

iCal is a great calendering application but is limited when out and about and Google Calender is no use without internet connectivity. Hmmm, if only you could combine the functionality of both. Well now you can with ‘Spanning Sync’ it does cost a little but it provides great two way syncing. Also we poorly demonstrate ‘Docker’ which enables you to customize the Dock. All this and ramblings (our speciality) on the iPhone.

With Nicky in London and Nick in Kent we attempt (with success) to produce a show using four video feeds, two Mac's, and one tiny internet connection to demo what we think is really cool in leopard.
