Golden Girl Gabby Douglas Wins Individual All-Around Two days after winning their first gold medal since 1996 in Woman's Team gymnastics, the US Women struck again in the individual all-around final as Gabby Douglas took home the gold with a final score of 62.232. Aly Raisman posted a fantastic 15.9 score in the vault, failing to execute in the uneven bars and balance beam events before redeeming herself with a beautiful floor routine. It wasn't enough and she ended up fourth, despite having the exact same scores as Russian Aliya Mustafina. Douglas, who led from start to finish, became the first african-american woman to win the all-around title, beating Komova by just over a quarter of a point and proving for the second time in 3 days that US Women's gymnastics are the world's best.
