Sarah Milner Simonds, who ran on Monday, has reportedly sold hers for 153000 pounds sterling (USD 241900) for charity. Speaking before completing her run Simonds says the money would be used for a community allotment. "I want that to go to a good home and actually I know quite a few people in the communities that I work with who could think of something to do with that money." The torchbearer, who was nominated for her work as a community gardener, said she was dismayed after receiving "unpleasant" e-mails. Other torches have already appeared for sale on the website.
