Ina Calottaschwarz is a practitioner of Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that started spreading in China 20 years ago. She's from Germany, but today she's in New York to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the practice. Ina recalls her first experiences doing the Falun Gong exercises. Other Falun Gong practitioners speak of similar experiences. "Now I never have any worries, and I feel very light when I walk." And great changes in their lives. "When friends see me, they see I have completely changed, my complexion is great and my spirits are up. So they say that this Falun Gong is so great." But today they are celebrating in America not China, because since 1999 the Chinese Communist regime has carried out a systematic persecution against Falun Gong. This persecution has led to over 3000 deaths from torture.
