So here is our rant for today, there are a number of people that continue to tell me how some of our cocktail recipes are "wrong" based on evidence that these people "have had" the real one. What exactly is the real recipe for any given cocktail? How can one be 100% certain the recipe they had down the road at a bar is the be-all-end-all correct recipe that is completely accurate to the original designers intent. And, as a matter of fact, do we know the original designers intent and exact ingredients that where once used? I beg you to find a recipe known by name at a common bar that only has a single variation. Then, provide documented evidence it was "the first" in the line of successful recipes of the name to be considered the father of the recipe. Show me a recipe and I'll show you four others that also want to be the first one to have been created.
