Green at Google Presents Dr. Claudio Campagna & Dr. Caleb McClennen - Oceans "Through compelling stories, Dr. Claudio Campagna will share his experiences as a field conservationist in one of the most pristine marine environments on Earth: the Patagonian Coast. He will tell stories of southern elephant seals, magellanic penguins, South American sea lions and black-browed albatross that make up this enigmatic ecosystem. Dr. Caleb McClennen will talk about the Wildlife Conservation Society's work to preserve the oceans, and will invite Googlers to participate in conservation field work at our research station at Glover's Reef in Belize. About the speaker: Dr. Claudio Campagna =============================== Dr. Claudio Campagna specializes in the biology and conservation of marine mammals. He received his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires, and obtained a PhD in Biology at the University of California Santa Cruz, where he began his research on the behavior of southern sea lions and elephant seals. Claudio is the leading scientist of the Wildlife Conservation Society's Patagonian Sea program, committed to identifying critical areas for biodiversity and promoting creation of large marine protected areas in Chile and Argentina. Claudio has published five books and over 60 papers. He has also acted as a scientific advisor to the BBC, National Geographic Society, and the Sundance Channel.
