Visit me at: www.ericthecarguy.com See part 1: www.youtube.com As you've probably figured out by now this is part 2 of the 2 part series on this Tahoe brake job, it pretty much involves reassembly and a few tricks of how to get the best brake adjustment possible. Rear shoe replacement can be daunting but with a little time and the right tools it can be overcome.Stay dirty ETCG Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information. Re: P0325 Knock Sensor Diagnosis
Visit me at: www.ericthecarguy.com Some great points were brought up in the comments of the original video including that I was not using my meter to check the resistance of the circuit correctly when I did the resistance check on the knock sensor therefore I HAD to make this video covering that mistake along with video of doing the test properly and how to set the multimeter. I also take the opportunity to show the different settings on a DVOM and how to use them so I think this video stands on it's own just for that purpose. 2002 Chevy Cavalier Power Window Repair
Visit me at: www.ericthecarguy.com Visit PowerProbe www.powerprobe.com No sooner did I get my new power probe than I needed it for this window repair. I've always liked this tool for this exact kind of repair as it makes it very easy to verify the operation of a 12v component with just the push of a button and now with the addition of the volt meter it's even better. I know the 'beeping' can get annoying but you can turn it off when you want but it's nice when you're working by yourself and are trying to verify a signal, listen for the noise and you're good. I hope this video gives you some insight into this type of repair I know a lot of people can get overwhelmed when confronted by an electrical repair but if you have a good wiring diagram and the right tools it's a good start to a successful repair.Stay dirty ETCG Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information. P0325 Knock Sensor Diagnosis
Visit me at: www.ericthecarguy.com Wells website www.wellsve.com Wells YouTube (great videos I recommend you subscribe) www.youtube.com As you can see by the title this video covers the diagnosis and repair of a P0325 on my 1997 Subaru Legacy L model with 2.2L engine backed by an auto trans. I did have some trouble with the 'factory' diagnostic procedure but thankfully my friend Mark at Wells Electronics had a test that involved a voltage drop across the sensor that worked perfectly. I hope this video illustrates the import ants of understanding a circuit that you're diagnosing as opposed to just throwing parts at something, with a little time and effort you can do a proper diagnosis.Stay dirty ETCG Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information. Visit me at www.ericthecarguy.com This is a pretty straightforward video but you might be surprised at how many times I've been asked about this. If you have a different set up on your vehicle check the owners manual for specific information on your make and model and don't forget to check to see if you can just replace the inserts, if you do you could save some money by installing those instead of the entire blade.Stay dirty ETCG Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information. Visit me at www.ericthecarguy.com Visit Rosedale at www.rosedaletech.org This video documents my trip back to where I got my automotive education, Rosedale Technical Institute in Pittsburgh PA. I have to say that it was probably the most life changing thing that I ever did because since I left that school after getting my automotive education my life has improved dramatically. As I said in the video I'm not saying that you have to go to Rosedale to get your automotive education but if you're serious about getting into the automotive field I strongly suggest you find a school that's right for you and get an education in the automotive arts before you get a job in the automotive field, without it I feel you won't do as well and won't be as effective as a technician.
