YOU ARE INVITED TO AN EXCITING MEDIA TRACK DURING THE L.A. GLOBAL CALL2ALL Congress! Tuesday, November 29 at 1:00PM- December 3 at 1PM Call2All is a partnership of hundreds of international organizations, all working to complete the Great Commission in our generation. A Global Congress will be running November 29 - December 3, 2011 at the Long Beach, Convention Center. The world's foremost media based ministries have come together to create a dynamic "Media Track" that will run everyday of the congress. Those who attend this track will participate in workshop presentations by inspirational speakers, and be exposed to the latest media tools and strategies being used to reach the least reached peoples of the world. Media Track Workshops will include topics such as: cross-cultural short films, internet evangelism, mobile media, animation, cartooning and visual arts for missions, media that transforms nations, and new technologies for media distribution. Some of our speakers and topics will include: 1. David Cunningham - YWAM - Harnessing the power of social media 2. Eric Foster - Jesus Film New Media - Media to reach the Unreached 3. Clyde Taber - Visual Story Network - Accelerating training for media production 4. Paul Leubers - Global Films Project - Creating Indigenous films in the cities of the USA 5. Calvin and Carol Conkey - Create International - Media that transforms nations and the 20/20 Vision 6. Tim Jore - Distance Shores Media - Mobile Devise Evangelism 7. Stephen Coat - Sabeel Media - Cross-cultural Film Production On Saturday, December 3rd the "Media Track" will culminate in a 'Cross-cultural Film Production Training Seminar' from 9am-12 noon also at the Long Beach Convention Center. Leaders from Create International, Jesus Film & New Media, Visual Story Network, and Global Film Project have formed the executive committee who will lead the Media Track. We are believing that this time will be an historic strategic gathering of media professionals and mission and church leaders. New ways to utilize media and technology to communicate the Gospel to all peoples will highlight our discussions. New relationships and partnerships will be formed between media producers, mission agencies and churches for completing the task. The 20/20 Vision will also be a strategic focus of the Media Track. The goal of the 20/20 Vision is "To produce and distribute an indigenous evangelistic audio-visual tool for every one of the Least Evangelized Mega Peoples by the year 2020, so that all can clearly see and understand the gospel message and embrace it as their own".
