Ease of use and amazingly simple but powerful effect combinations excited Thomas when he tried it for the first time during his DJ set! Comparing the on-board sampler (which you can load with your own samples from SD) to an old skool step sequencer he couldn't wait to get stuck into the RMX.

He tells DJsounds why he made the move. Sitting pretty at the summit of the DJmag Top 100 DJs for the last four years, Armin is still constantly innovating. Originally involved with the "new species" campaign to launch the CDJ-2000 and rekordbox two years ago in 2009, Armin discusses how they have changed his performance and in particular his Armin Only shows, playing off one USB key for his entire show. He also reveals how he sends timecode to cue the additional production of his shows.
