Larry Hagman Is Battling Cancer The iconic JR Ewing from Dallas has revealed that he has a "very common and treatable form of cancer." FANS OF DALLAS WERE TOTALLY PSYCHED WHEN THEY FOUND OUT THE 80S PRIMETIME SOAP WAS GETTING A REBOOT ON TNT... AND THE FACT THAT LARRY HAGMAN WOULD BE BACK AS JR EWING MADE THE NEWS THAT MUCH MORE EXCITING...BUT NOW WE HEAR THE ICONIC ACTOR HAS A NEW BATTLE TO FIGHT... "As JR I could get away with anything -- bribery, blackmail and adultery, but I got caught by cancer," LARRY HAGMAN SAID IN A STATEMENT...
