Facebook Employees March in San Francisco Pride Parade www.youtube.com/facebook Facebook employees march in the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade - the largest gathering of LGBT people and allies in the nation. Facebook gives people the power to share and make the world more open and connected. We encourage and empower our employees to live and work openly as their authentic selves and to connect with one another in order to form strong and caring communities. In June, over 250 Facebook employees and friends marched in the San Francisco Pride Parade, expressing Facebook's commitment to diversity in the workplace. Hoisting signs with status updates about diversity, and offering stamps of the 'Like' button to parade observers, the Facebook group celebrated all the through the city. The group was made up of LGBT-identified Facebook employees, as well as many employees and friends of employees who are LGBT allies. The strong showing at the parade reflects Facebook's tight-knit and accepting community.
