In this video tutorial i will show you guys 2 ways on publishing your application. The first way will be how to publish to your computer and the second way will be how to publish via FTP. Publishing FTP will publish and upload the files to your server in which will allow users to download your program(s) from your server. You may also want to make sure your server allows .exe extensions because that's the setup file users will need in order to install your program.

In this video i will show you guys how to create a user registration form and a login form that will use the settings option in visual basic.If you're going to allow multiple user registration this method is not suggested so you would want to use a database for that.This is good for if you want to use it for your own personal project or if you're handing it out to a couple friends and they use it for their personal use.I wont be hard coding the username or password, this i where the settings come in to play.We will also determine on the form load event if there's a user that's been registered to show the login form otherwise display the registration form.This will not allow someone else in your home to register a account and see what you have on your program.

When we created a customer and we wanted to add multiple records per contact we used the data gridview. The project we’re going to build is a borderless form with our custom title bar with some dragging functionality so we can drag our form. Also for kicks i thought i would throw in a couple more sidekicks, 1 being when you click to drag the form it will have a transparent effect and when you click up the transparency will be 0 (No transparency). 2, adding a pin up, pin down effect, so no matter the location of our form, when we pin our form down it will go into transparent mode with a little visibility so you can see the form still and the form will be docked to the top left of your screen.
