Check out this video of the Airports from my journey yesterday on Air Jamaica from Montego Bay, Jamaica to Bridgetown, Barbados! The flights were okay...not much leg room at all on Air Jamaica..so much for the "Lovebird" Airline!! The Jamaica airport was crazy! It was totally packed and the ceiling in there was very very low, so you feel sort of trapped in there! Also, there are no electronic displays telling the Gate information, so you have to ask an attendant and then listen very closely for your flight! The Barbados airport was crazy too! That airport was like a diamond! It was so rich, and the ticketing is in this open-air pavilion! However, inside, where the gates are, there is no electronic display. So you have to listen closely for your gate to be called on the overhead announcement system, and the gate for my flight was announced only at the time when Boarding was! It was really tight in Barbados though! It was completely full of British people, and that was really surprising to me, at least a 180 from Montego Bay, Jamaica! It was really awesome, but there were not many places to eat there. Oh yeah, if you have a LIAT connecting flight off of Air Jamaica, then supposedly LIAT will honor the Air Jamaica baggage allowance of 50 pounds each for 2 checked bags, as opposed to their typical policy of 50 pounds total. That's just what I heard though, so it's helpful to confirm that! Anyways, have fun...there are a ton of tourists here in Grenada right now too...it's dj $iva y'all!
