Sheldon Fights to Include Extension of Renewable Energy Incentives in Tax Proposal In this speech on the Senate floor, Senator Whitehouse urged the extension of a renewable energy tax credit grant program as part of a final compromise bill on Bush-era tax cuts. The grant program, which was first established by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, is set to expire at the end of this year.
