Tate Modern hosts a sleepover party of 150 young people from all around the UK and Talkaoke was their to see what they thought about the whole day as well as other things on their mind. Sadly for the pupils the teachers somewhat restricted their movements so Talkaoke wasn’t able to have a constant flow of eager participants. Still this was a very successful Talkaoke with a lot of good discussions.

The conversation and pundits were a bit spuradic at times but there were some good discussions on security, crime and festivals in the park.

Earlham School in Norwich plays host to Talkaoke as part of the ‘Chapelfeild of Dreams’ project, which is to let the people of Norwich discuss and ultimately decide what they want in Chapelfield Gardens. The Year 10's were slow in getting the conversation going and weren't helped by some severe problems with the table of chat, but Talkaoke soldiered on and eventually every got into the discussions. Some of the main subjects were the recent trip to Tate Modern and Britain, what kind of art people like, football and 'who's your mate?'.

With the night still young early punters talked about dreams and the current drug culture in Britain, suprisingly there was very little talk about new media arts. On a scorching hot second day Talkaoke takes cover under it's new gazebo for another exciting day at the Port Eliot Lit Fest. In Part 1 the children take centre stage around the table, but as the adults pluck up the courage they to join in the conversation. In this session Mikey steps out the centre to let another budding Talkoake host, Martin, to enter the spotlight. Watch out for discussions on Global Warming and how we can stop it, as well a debate on Chav's and Chav culture.
