Jo Ju-hyun [Former Editor of OkCheon Newspaper, director of the Strategy Business team at the NDSoft] Jo Ju-hyun is a journalist. He is not an ordinary journalist at a giant newspaper corporation, but a veteran journalist at a local company which is almost a symbol of grass-root democracy. He made the OkCheon newspaper as a real newspaper not just an individual advertisement of the local politicians, which I might say, is quite rare. Of course he didn?t do this all by himself, but with many other colleagues. That is the result of how he always interacts not only with his colleagues but with the local people also. He is physically challenged and he can not walk without the crutches. Also with a hereditary, he has been physically challenged for his life time. However, that cannot stop him from doing anything he ever wanted to. He always tries something new and enjoys doing it. Working at the OkCheon Newspaper, he became the little flame started a big fire on the ?Anti-Chosun? movement. Based on this, he holds ?Journalism Festival? first in 2003 and it still happens these days with a help of the local people. Currently, he works passionately as a director of Strategy Business at the NDsoft which many newspaper companies are using. The company is mainly focused on improving condition of small newspaper companies all over the country by outsourcing the newspaper editing and consulting. Those client companies are making a big synergy for having an extra editor. He never thought he?s unlucky for being physically challenged. He said that that handicap made him stronger and he could experience the true courage. Even now he always has many guests who want to meet him and talk to him. Because of the words that follow and describe him, sometimes he feels frustrated. However, he never tries to avoid anything. He appreciates the life he has and dreams a world where everyone can find true meaning of his/her own life. He always stands there and waits to meet and greet new people. He rather enjoys his own limit and faces it with a smile. He is becoming a partner of the grass-roots local newspaper companies sharing his time and passion to make a world a little better than yesterday.
