Today I had the chance to speak with Mark Warr (founder of Warr Guitars) and Randy Strom (touch-style artist extraordinaire). Mark gave an overview of what a Warr Guitar is and how they’re played. Randy provided an awesome live demonstration of the instrument. However, the most impressive part of today’s chat was Mark’s unveiling of one of the 2008 Trey Gunn Signature Series Warr Guitar. He talked a little bit about the features of the instrument like the addition of peizo pickups, and midi integration. The instrument is truly amazing, but for those of you who want it, get your own. This one already has my name on it..now where do I get the cash for that bad boy?

So overall, Apple’s new Mac OS X Leopard is pretty amazing stuff. However, they seem to have broken (or left out completely) some of the simple stuff. Each day this week, I’ll be posting a new video documenting some of these little nuances. Today’s video is all about screen capture…or the lack thereof. You see, in Mac OS X Leopard if you take a screen shot using the “Apple+Shift+4” option all you get in the .png is the desktop. Now, using “Apple+Shift+3” still works. Am I missing something here? Is there a new feature I’m just overlooking? Anyway you slice it, it would seem that screen capture is broken in Mac OS X Leopard. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.

The biggest upgrade to Mac OS X, Leopard, has finally arrived at an Apple Store near you. With over 300 new features make navigating, organizing files, backing up documents—anything you do at work or play—easier than ever it is no wonder so many people were waiting in line this evening. I thought it'd be cool to take a quick video of the line and share it out with the world. By the count I took from the other end of the line there were approximately 300-400 people in line during the first hour of the release. Looks like all of those snazzy t-shirts will be gone by the time the line dies down and I walk over to get my own copy; or will they?
