UNC Features B-Fade! B-FAde was born September 21, 1976 in Oakland, CA. Raised in East Oakland B-Fade has always been into music. In the early 90's, the streets took hold of B-Fade. After going from jail to prison, back to the streets, B-Fade realized the damage that he was doing to himself and others around him. After thinking about all the bad choices that he made in life, selling drugs, using drugs and alcohol and becoming very violent and hardened, he began to take his music career seriously. As a way of escape from the street life, B-Fade began recording with secular artists and made appearances on albums with E-40, Too-Short, T.Q. (from cash money) Lil' Zane, C-BO, Keak Da Sneak, Rappin 4-Tay, Mike Mosley (Tupac) All Access Documentary & many more. Soon after, he realized that there was a dark and evil side to the secular music industry behind the scenes that was filled with violence, sex, drugs, alcohol and death.The same activities that he did on a daily base on the streets, was actually going on in the business of Gangster Rap Music. B-fade knew that if he did not change his life, he would end up either dead or in jail for life. B-Fade finally gave his life to Christ in 2002. A year later B-Fade got permission from the Lord and his spiritual covering to use his gift in music for the sole purpose of kingdom building by spreading the Great Commission. B-Fade is under sound doctrine, and a solid church home. He is also married with two beautiful daughters. B-Fade is most definitely living up to what most people call him, “MAN ON FIRE”. This brother has an anointed and very powerful Nationwide Evangelistic Ministry. From churches to block parties, juvenile halls, weddings and anywhere else he can, this man of God never seizes an opportunity to spread the Gospel. Through the Ministry of Gospel Rap he has shared stages with Mary-Mary, Tonex, Kurtis Blow, Demetrius Tolefree, Eugene Cole, Freida Mitchell, Jus-B-Cuz, and Tachena Danielle. B-Fade is also apart of a Ministry that God has put together called “THE PRAY AREA MOVEMENT”, which consist of Nation Wide Evangelist N.I.C., Brotha Ruff, and EXPLICIT.
