Truth-Missionary Baptist Church celebrated 41 years in April of 2009. Pastor Sammy Kay has faithful pastored and led Truth-Missionary Baptist Church through the years. Rev. Jeremy P. Wakefield (one of Pastor Kay's grandson's) preached the Homecoming message and properly entitled it "TRUTH Is Marching On!" At the end of the message, Lyle Wakefield sings the song "Truth Is Marching On" made popular by the Gold City quartet. Truth-Missionary Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental, Bible-believing Baptist church that stands for the Book, the Blood, and the Blessed Hope!
