What an incredible day at Citi Field on Saturday May 9 VH1 Autism Awareness Day! So glad I brought along the video camera! Here is the first installment of the 'Bach at Citi Field' Show! This clip shows us getting to Citi Field & doing soundcheck at 10AM , 2 hours before the ball park opened. They told me in an interview that will air on SNY Network that I was the first ever 'Rock' performer to play Citi Field! I can now imagine what it was like the Beatles to play Shea Stadium.The place is so huge that the slapback makes it virtually impossible to hear yourself while playing! Again & again I thank whoever invented inear monitors ! Here it is ! Your first taste of Brand NEW Bach N' Roll 2009 Style! Served up hot & fresh just how you like it! This clip is of me & Charlie Bellmore at rehearsal yesterday getting ready for May 9 at Citi Field. After jamming we worked on some of the demos we have been crafting for a couple of months now. Jamey Jasta hooked me up with Charlie & I can't believe how this musical journey continues. All I have ever wanted was to make great music that I myself am proud of & love. Well, nothing has changed. If kickass rock is what you want, we are only too happy to deliver it to you. I have about 7 or so songs on the go with Jamey Jasta, Charlie Bellmore, & his brothe Nick on drums. I also have one KILLER song with John 5, (Rob Zombie / Marilyn Manson) that fits in perfect with the other stuff. I am hoping to write more with John 5 . Also, Roy Z. (Angel Down) is on the team for the next recording, which is great news. Well here's the deal, out of around 60 or so shows we did in 2008 , I have about %90 of those shows all on video. The Perth show is basically the first one I have watched! We would watch the shows on the bus sometimes on the way to the next town to improve our performance, but other than that, I have 40 -50 tapes from the tour to go through. Anything 'pro-shot' will be saved for future DVD releases, but I have so many concerts that would not be suitable for a DVD, but work great here on the internet! This is what I have always envisioned the internet to be! The gig is the internet, the internet is the gig. The Medium Is The Message! Hey I'm old school.... still play records here at the House of Bach... but to use the internet to broadcast full gigs at HD Quality is something truly amazing to a rocker like me ! Enjoy the show !!
